I have the problem with the quick change levers sticking. I have greased, sanded and and took apart the levers and pins, but it still sticks. Mine is not Kubota but the ATI Tach-All. When I bought my tractor (been a few years), Kubota did not have a quick hitch, so I went with the ATI.

The levers on the ATI have a roll pin in the lever part and if you push or pull too hard, you will shear the roll pin. Then you have to take the lever apart to put in a new roll pin. I carry a small ball-peen hammer in the tool box. I can tap the ends of the protruding hitch pins so I can drop a bucket or forks without forcing the levers and shear the pins. My next tractor will not have roll pins in the quick change levers.

That M7040 of yours sure looks nice and I am sure you will enjoy that cab, congratulations. I was out today on mine and I made a quick job of it. 94 degrees with an open cab in full sun is not enjoyable.

.

Interesting, I have an ATI Tach-All on one of my loaders. I have not noticed any sticking. Yet, anyway. It's been 3 years.
