Yanmar YM1510D
2 Weeks ago I picked up a Yanmar YM1510D. It runs great but the Bush Hog 1846QT loader was not installed because it was leaking. I install the loader and hook it up (how they told me). I have no hydraulic fluid making it to the loader. I add fluid, clean the strainer, unhook lines, and the whole 9 yards. So I finally say I am going to remove the pump and look it over on the bench. In removing it, I find the shaft sheared off where the nut threads on, and i look and the woodruff key has sheared off too. This causes me to buy a new pump. Since I don't want to destroy a new pump. I am asking for advice on the installation. Hoyetractor.com says I can run the pressure into the loader and on the back side I will still have pressure for my 3 point. I will attach a crude picture of what I am talking about. This doesn't seem right to me, I feel like it needs to be set up as power beyond, and maybe that is why my original pump sheared the woodruff key... The biggest problem with this tractor is there is no return to reservoir. And I am not sure if there is a plug that I need to pull to make one or really where to start. I just don't want to ruin my new pump. I bought a hydraulic flow divider/combiner from summit hydraulics thinking I would split the system between the 2, but I don't know where to run the return line even if I did that. Does anyone know where to start? I will attach some pictures ASAP.

Hey there any update ? I have a 1510d and am looking to get a loader and also found a 1846. Does it fit and work good for that little tractor ?

You would of gotten a good deal or replies IF you posted all this in the YANMAR vintage section. ;)
