I see that RCO tractor lists the MT122H for sale now. It is not even on the LS tractor corporate website yet. It looks to be the same tractor with just lower HP.

I note that the loader lift at pins on the LS MT125 is 1007 while it is listed at 886 lbs at the pins on the new LS MT122H. Same LL1100 loader, so that tells me that the displayed info is possibly not correct or it can be possible that the hydraulic pressures are being reduced to cause more of a separation between the 122H and the 125H with a $1,000 price disparity?

LS has published two different numbers for the MT125 loader lift capacity (886lbs on the website and 1,005lbs in the loader manual, brochure, and elsewhere on website). So I am not sure how much to trust any loader lift numbers.

I too, have not been able to get a precise number from LS. However, I just used the loader yesterday to lift a bunch of bagged concrete. I had 14 - 80# bags (1120 lbs) in the bucket and had no problem lifting the bucket up 3-4 ft. The front tires were screaming (I first thought I had a flat), they looked very very low. I was getting lazy after moving my first load of 8 bags, and just wanted to be done with the task, hence loading it up with the 14 bags. Would I constantly load it heavy like that? Probably not. I was also only operating the tractor at about 2000 rpm when lifting the heavy load.
As for the MT 122, they don't list the hydraulic pump output. I think that may play in "de-rating" the loader if the output is less. I was suddenly shocked when I looked at the RCO site this morning before reading your post.... I saw the price first and had a near fainting episode thinking they lowered the price on the 125 !!. Then I saw it was a 122... Able to breath now.

LS added the MT122 to the website. Didn't clean up the loader lift numbers. The series page still says 886 and the details page says 1,007.

Hi guys, I wanted to help reduce the confusion, but I guess I'm really just going to wallow around in it with you for a minute. The original draft of brochures we got on the MT series said loader lift cap. was 886 lbs and that's what we published on our site. Once the tractors started arriving and we got the final glossy brochures the rated capacity had been up'd to 1,007... so we updated our numbers accordingly. They have those brochures printed in big quantities and sometimes numbers get updated but the old brochures are still floating around confusing people... so generally we view the LS website as the most up to date specs. I just discovered the same thing that ThirdMan did... they have conflicting numbers on their site. I suspect that the series page just didn't get updated to match the new spec, but that's an educated guess. We have not had a chance to do a real world lift capacity test on these models, but that's on our mile-long to do list. Every LS loader we've ever tested out-performed their claimed numbers (and every competitor's numbers....nanny nanny boo boo!). So, based on past experience I have every reason to believe that the 1007# number is the right one, but I'm not betting my left arm on it until I have a chance to actually test it. I know LS is working on more web improvements so hopefully we'll see these inconsistencies ironed out soon.

Thank you John, that does help. I have wondered if the lower number was with an SSQA bucket that they decided not to provide. The only time I have run into the limits of the lift capacity was with clamp on pallet forks with weight way out from the pins. Without the backhoe on it is pretty easy to make the rear tires light so I try to only move heavy items with quite a bit of rear weight.

I have lifted many bucket loads of damp almost muddy dirt. The tractor lifted it smoothly. To this point, I love my LS MT125 TLB minus the stupid 3pt hitch setup.

Finally got through all your videos Rider. They are currently the most comprehensive information readily available on the MT1 series. If you ever find yourself in south central Texas, drinks are on me.

I spoke to a dealer today about the 3 point hitch issue and they initially argued with me that there was no such problem, but to their credit they were polite about it and when I didn't relent they dug deeper and confirmed the issue to me, apologized, and apparently the best information they could find at the moment was a fix to be available in the March timeframe.

Thanks you for the drink offer. I my take you up on it. I love Central Texas. I don't think they are pushing the issue hard, because it only affects the MT1's that have the backhoe. I guess March is better than nothing; however, I find it to be a bad business practice to ignore the problem and sell it to unsuspecting customers impling it works just like every other Sub Compact with a backhoe.

I bought mine at a large dealer in AR. They have sold many of the MT1s and was very aware of the problem. They did not tell me anything about the problem when I drove over to pick it up on the day of sale. I called back after I took my backhoe off and the problem presented itself. One of their guys in service told me, I should have done better research. Luckily , I found a new local dealer which is very honest; however that dealer in AR and at a corporate level are not handling the problem as I would. I called and email LS Corporate office and found they were aware of the oversight. They told me the fix was on the way back in Oct 2017. One of the corporate officials told me they hated Tractor by net, because people talked about what they did not understand as if it was the customer's problem to understand corporate issues. ( I still have the Email. He had sent it to another dealer forgetting I was in the email chain) They don't seem to be pointing the problem out to the small local dealers or customers. I find this a very poor business practice. To bad too! The LS MT125 TLB is a diamond minus the three point hitch issue. It is one of the better built Subcompacts on the market with many great refinements. It has a kick butt hydraulic system and has great fit and finish. Again, minus three point hitch issue.
