Thanks, everyone. Buppy69, I'm so excited at getting the thing delivered tomorrow I'm afraid I'll be like a puppy when the guy gets there with it, and piddle all over the driveway.

I remember when my first tractor was delivered in Feburary of 1991. I came home from work, It was dark, I said I will check it out in the morning, during the nite an ice storm, my tractor was in-cased in two inches of ice, the key was even frosen in place. When I talked about a fire to free it from the deep freeze my wife had a 20 minute laughing fit. I setteled for coffee and a hug.

That is a fine tractor. I'm sure you'll get tons of service out of it. You chose a good dealer also. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Believe me, I ask a lot on here. They all get answered too.

Does anyone know if the manuals for sale at Hoye are different from the Murray manual I got from Fredricks? Also, if there's any basic sort of book / web site with an introduction to "parts of a tractor" and "parts of a diesel engine", I'd be most appreciative if you can share. It gets old having conversations with the resident tractor expert at work when I have to keep interrupting to ask what he's talking about.

This site offers such a book to download in pdf format for $24.95. Don't know anything about it, but you can click on "STORE" and read about it.

WOW ! Nice looking tractor. I get the same sort of looks from Whats-Her-Name...... but i suppose i give her similar looks when she talks about a new pair of shoes she bought, so its all good.
