Tractor
john deere 430 diesel
Hey folks.
I'm new to this site, typing to ya out of Fairland, Indiana. (southeast of Indianapolis) I'm hoping someone might have info/advise on a 3pt carry all attachment for my 430 diesel garden tractor.

is the tractor cat 0 or cat 1.. TSC makes a good inexpensive cary all.. and a heavier duty pallet fork one for larger machines.

ps.. welcome!

i wasn't familiar with that machine.. that's why i asked.

i don't trust any info on tractor data unless I've verified it thru another source.. :) so that's why i didn't look there.

their track record is soo spotty they could be a leopard..

I agree, they may not be the best source of info, but they're usually close. I've noticed a few discrepancies, but hey, we all have a few issues!

I bought a Cat 1 carryall for my 4010. I bolted an old pallet to the horizontal bars and 1 bys to the verticals. Then I bolted some 2 bys to the pallet to which I attached some pockets to insert sides made from 2 bys and 1 bys.

Do a search on here and you'll find pictures of it.

I bought one of the TSC $100 carry-alls at the end of the season last year. I don't do anything really heavy, so I just put a plywood floor on it with some angle iron cross supports. I could have built one (maybe) or shopped around, but for $100 I had other things to do....and this one is perfectly adequate for my use.
