Wow. Pretty eloqouent, very controlled, and rational.

You should have done this a long time ago. I don't know that it would have affected my purchase but I'll admit to buying into the VN = Junk propaganda. That is all I have ever heard since I started looking at tractors back in Oct. '05.

I hope that satisfied RCO customers will post more often. Perhaps as a service to your customers you could point them to this site (maybe not a good idea until AFTER they buy though /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif until any misconceptions out there get cleared up) as a source of information. That would have at least a three-fold benefit
1. WE get to hear more about RCO customers and the products offered.
2. THEY get a huge source of information from some pretty smart tractor dudes.
3. YOU get the opportunity to seperate yourself from what we have all condemned (right or wrong) as an inferior product.

I did look at your site when I was looking, along with Hoye, Tullahoma, LMTC, EFC, Vina, CTC, Ernies, some place in Va., and a bunch more. I'll be honest I stayed away after I read the "re-furb list". I thought there is no way you could have done all that with quality replacement parts and proficient technical support for the prices offered, not EVERY tractor. From what I'm reading here, that is not was meant to be conveyed to us as potential customers though.

Anyway, good luck and hopefully we'll hear more from your customers.

Oh yea, welcome to TBN. Don't be a stranger. The more guys like you (all the dealers really) participate the better this place is.

John,
First off, I would genuinely like to welcome you.. It is refreshing to get different points of veiw..

As for your post, yes it was wordy /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif, and you had every right to do so.. According to your post, (I really dont know any better) you run an upstanding outfit..

You referenced part of my post, regarding how Mace had already purchsed a tractor before getting opinions on what to look for.. But you failed to refer to how I mentioned the morals of the "refurbisher".. Like I said, the product was great 30yrs ago.. Without knowing you or how you do bussiness(personaly) I would still recomend that he look it over very well, particularly because it is a recon(or may be).. The anymosity for the "recon" comes from horror stories, that you appear to recognize, of unscrupulous dealers.. You apparently are one of the good guys, and I applaud you for that, you should remain here from time to time to clarify certain issues.. I for one would not have considered your dealer mainly because I had never heard of you before this post.. I have on the other hand come to trust Wayne,Buck,Ernie and AAron simply because they frequent here and have helpfull input, therefore if I need another they would be the first to come to mind.. A post like this and your ocasional appearance could only help your business if you have a good reputation...In all fairness, any used product should be closely inspected before purchase, whether a "recon" or "unrecon"..

A++++++ Great to see you stand up for your company. Your corect about unfactial libel. People don't relize they could be sued. Especialy when they use to support there own bussines. I see all this stuff on here as though it were fact. It should be stated as "my experience". I'd like to see actual studies proof. Recon vs. non recon. You responded in a very busness like way. respectfull, unlike other's ive seen post who get very defensive. Thankyou

I would also like to welcome you. I bought my tractor used from an individual, so I have no comments on Viet tractors other than those I would offer anyone, buyer beware, do your homework, and buy from someone you trust. I did none of these things BTW..... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
But it's turned out OK for me, because as other have mentioned, Yanmar builds a good product, and I take care of the things I buy and expect to use...........

Again, a nice post on your part, I think it will help you and your businees as time goes along. Glad you took the time to write.........

Welcome. I have one of Leons tractors I bought from one of your neihboring copetitors. It has been a good unit. I have the v loader. It has been a good loader.
I think arthr was talking about a Thermostart rather than a thermostat. I have both on my unit.
You guys have sold alot of tractors. I think you have other brands as well? I have tried to tell folks that at least some of these are good tractors. Whoever (Leon) rebuilt mine did a good job. I hope it last 20 yrs.
Thanks for posting!
