HEY! Did you see the new PT180?

Products Page at the PT website. Nice looking page!

Looks a lot like Davesisk's machine. Only addition a manual quick attach. Wonder if that retrofits to his a little cheaper than the hydraulic.

I haven't looked at the whole new site yet. Has anyone noticed an identification of manufacturer for the 18 and 22 hp engines?

Holy cow! They've brought back almost the same model I have! Wow!

The PT-180 isn't the only new model...there's also 2430 and 2465!

And I concur...that is a nice looking page. I'd hope all the specs are finally right now!

Charlie:

Now that's a thought...I might come out cheaper though by selling the 1418 and buying a 180 (all the attachments would have to be retrofit as well!)

Nope, I found that kind of funny they had no mention about the engine manufactures, diesel or gas

I thought it strange, too. It appears they don't want to "feature" an engine...or, maybe they want to buy smaller "batches" and work different models into production w/o explaining every move... /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif What fun to speculate /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Did you notice the link to TBN in their links section? /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Scott:Hadn't looked at the links until your post. For engine sleuths, a clue is there as well. Deutz, Robin & Kohler links. (None to new liquid cooled multi-fuel - sorry, Hans.)

when i was down at pt. last week they had a shipment of robin engines due. they all had the new coils but they didn't have the big starter. they just finished a run of the new 425's ,it looked like about 40 of these. i never saw or heard of the little one. it sure is cute!
