Took delivery of my new SA324 with fel about a month ago so far I love it except the HST fan which I shredded Saturday going to my dealer Saturday to order parts.

ssmith60, Congrats on the new machine. In the interest of not shredding the fan blade on my machine... what happened? Did the deal provide any "post factory updates" to prevent a recurrence?

i ran across a limb or something that ripped all the blades off the fan before i could shut off the engine.


"YANMAR TRACTOR" is a factory guy that monitors the forum he sent the following parts list that is a fan cover i have ordered these and will install them myself

Wow, that is a bunch of money for something that costs about $10 to make and should have been installed before it left the factory.

At least the guard should come with the FEL, since a FEL tractor is much more likely to leave the fields.
so that is over a 10x mark-up to fix a known shortcoming in the basic design.
