New Ranger

here are a couple of pictures of our ranger. so far it has been what we had hoped it would be. easy starting, quiet,smooth ride fun machine.accessories will be here friday

Nice machine! I've got my Ranger Crew cab coming in a week or so. Ordered the soft top, bed lift, and they're checking out a winch for me now. One of the most important things I want to do myself is put some extra lights on it because we'll use ours alot after dark. Their lights seem way too pricey to me so I'm gonna figure out something on my own. I'll probably mount some on the rollover bars. I need to check out if you can order auxillary factory switches to mount for additional lighting. If there's anything that you know of that I should know pass it on. Did your machine come with a key to limit the speed for kids??? I've got to check that out.

thanks, i am really looking forward to putting some stuff on the ranger. so far have ordered 26'' bighorns on chrome wheels.(went with chrome instead of aluminum because i hope they will be easier to clean) polaris extreme brushguard, front, rear and side guards, rear bumper,nerf bars and went with 4000lb venom winch kit because it was almost 500.00 less than the warn 4000 kit. let me know what you find out about the lights i would like to do that in the future. the reduced speed key is only avaliable for ranger 500's without fuel injection. i

The Ranger lights are pathetic. I went to Wal Mart and bought a $20 set of Halogen driving lights and put on the brushguard of my Ranger. I tapped in to the high beam circuit of mine. On low beam they are off, when I switch to the high beams the driving lights come on. It is one of the best and simplist things I have done to mine. Check out the picture.

With all respect, is this just me, or does your machine need a front end alignment, by the picture, it looks like the right front is headed out...

I think that the front right was up on a little bump on the ground and just made it look like that.

most of the accessories came in today. plan to install them saturday.tires and wheels are lost in shipping system hopefully they will show up soon.(just my normal luck).

spent about 3hrs putting the brush guards and bumper on. they don't make it easy.some of the bolts on the ranger are metric some standard,not sure why they can't be the same.tires and wheels and winch still not here.looking for a steel roof that is strong enough to stand on so i can fill deer feeder without ladder.hope my wife doesn't check out this site.if something happens to me i hope she doesn't sell my stuff for what i said i paid for it! cj4 i hope you buy all this stuff for yours so i won't feel so bad.

Your pics of the accessories look great.......Did you get a power lift on your bed? How do you open the hood with the guard across it????

no power bed lift. the rtv has it so will use it for that type use.the hood guard has 2 threaded knobs that loosen by hand to allow the guard to flip back out of the way.looking forward to seeing your ranger crew. i noticed you are from oklahoma city. my cousin bill used to be the voice of the osu cowboys,and sports anchor on ch 9.

You jerk you! You're going to end up costing money with that sweet combination you have!!

I love my RTV1100 and have it setup like I want it; including the high air intake, 26" Bighorns on chrome wheels, spray in bedliner, front and rear work lights, custom made aluminum toolbox, remote control Ramsey winch, and matching camo seat covers. Now you've done gone and bought exactly what I'd want for my "fun" but very work capable off road machine to compliment the 1100.

If you have a 120 pound 5'4 little woman looking you up with fire in her eyes, you'll know it's my wife ticked off because I had to buy a sweet Ranger like yours!

how do you like the bighorns on your rtv? thats what i have ordered for the ranger. you've got that rtv decked out. i only have front and rear work lights and camo seat cover so far.(have rear screen on order) i would like to see what a camo rtv would look like with chrome wheels.please post a picture.

part of my purchase deal was that i got to make out 1 order of accessories and get them at his cost. so i got the tires and wheels,nerf bars,front brushguard,rear bumper,front and rear side guards for 1580.00

You've got to use your head!!! You see, i'm buying this new Crew cab Ranger for my wife......kills 2 birds with one stone you see.....here's how it unfolds.....the last 2 yrs while we were clearing our land to build the lake house I showed the wife how to use the 2 wheel trailer behind the 4 wheeler to carry her tools, haul her plants and flowers and trees all around.....now when company comes out I always talk up to her how it'd be cool if the 4 of us could jump on one 4 wheeler and go look at our property and toot down the road.....(get the idea....yeah, a setup Now last fall i just conveniently drive by the dealers and say...."WOW HONEY, LOOK OVER THERE AT THAT 2 SEATER....it's even got a dump bed for hauling flowers...and man you could take your friends and go all over the woods and the creeks too baby....." Ah huh!!!! "Well, honey, someday maybe I can BUY YOU ONE OF THOSE!!!!! MAYBE EVEN FOR VALENTINES DAY!!! UGGGGGGG OR BABY MAYBE FOR EVEN YOUR BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

So guess what???? I made a deposit on Valentines day.....and by her birthday which is April 15th......guess when all the accessories are coming!!!!!!!!
