I looked at some old ones that had been traded in, or that neighbors had with 500 - 1000 hrs on them and there is movement in the old style too, but I couldn't find any that had failed. The bigger issue was if they had been maintained. Most of the areas you are looking at have grease fittings on them which should minimize any wear if you take the time to give them a shot now and then. It's not an indy race car.

I can assure you there is no grease fitting or any amount of grease that will fix the rear wheels on the RTV X that we have that has 54 hrs and has only been run on pavement in 2 wheel drive those 54 hrs. My buddy has a RTV 1100 old style check his rear wheels today rock solid no play. Front has a little but not as much as new style.
