Good luck my dealer still hasn't heard anything official from kubota and from what I am reading there view is it's normal, it was engineered into the wheel. I am not an engineer but I am a mechanic 30 years plus and I can't see why anyone would do this accept to fail. I just can't wrap my head around why know one said hey these wheels have a lot of play could this be a issue ? . And then to say no we made it that way unreal!!! Where in the ****!!! Is quality control. I am so upset I used ours at work today and am scared the wheels are going to break off while plowing snow and hurt someone every noise or creek you hear I hold my breath and get ready.

One dam!! Thing is for sure wear your seat belt in a new model RTV X cause you just don't know.

Oh we'll still waiting Kubota still waiting.

There seems to be some spectrum of wheel play here. We're waiting on tolerances for engineering on what's considered normal, and that will take awhile. The prior RTV's that we've sold for the last 10+ years also have some play. If you really have an extreme amount of play then there are some front end adjustments that need made to tighten it up. Once we have tolerances, we'll know when to dive into that. I'm not too worried.

No disrespect to you. But have you read the post on here it's about the rear wheels with lots of play watch the video it's of the rear not the front. And you can say all you want about the front wheel adjustment that won't fix the back wheels.

Come on!!! Do you think we're all stupid!!! The old RTV which I have access to has no play in the rear wheels compared to the new style. Some on the front which I will agree but still no we're near the new style either.

Tell Kubota to wake up and do something or your going to lose lots of customers over this new RTV

No disrespect to you either, but I trust what we see and hear more than what I read online :). When searching the internet you don't know the back story of the customers and machines in question. To this point, we're unable to find anything grossly out of the ordinary. Maybe time will change that, but that's where we are today.

I made the Video that is posted on line, it's a brand new machine RTV X 1100 that is use on a airport with 54 hrs on it no off road use no abuse at all and the rear wheels are ready to fall off. I have two other friends that also have new RTV X also that have the same issues.

We are not kids they are only used on there property for plowing snow and hauling firewood so if they have been abused or miss handled then Kubota has truly built a piece of crap!!! If this is all they can stand.

And one more thing I am not a salesman sitting behind a desk. I am a mechanic and dam good one to boot. Why don't you load up and come to my place and look at our new RTV X and you tell me there is nothing wrong with it. I am in PA come on over send me a PM and I will give you direction.

You can spin this anyway you want but I am here to tell you it's wrong!!!

What I can't understand is why this is so important to you? I've read your posts here and over at the other forum and it doesn't sound like you own one of the new kubota's with independent suspension? If you're considering buying one, why not sit back and see how this plays out rather than keep with your accusatory posts? By all accounts this issue was identified a few weeks ago, it seems reasonable that it will take time to investigate and determine whether its isolated or wide spread. As a Kubota customer I don't feel like I'm being mis-lead by them.

We'll let me make you understand. You are correct I don't own one yet. But my work place does and I am the head mechanic ,who also got his company to buy this nice new 30k piece of equipment because of the great quality that kubota is known for. Because if you look close I have owned 3 kubota and still own 2 including a new L45.

First off its a safety issue with this machine I call my dealer and he says just run it it's under warranty.
You know what that's ******** period!!! And if and when a wheel comes off and rolls down the run way and takes out a million dollar aircraft that's ok too! It's under warranty right!!! So now I am stuck with a 30k purchase that I can't use and feel safe while doing so or my employes.

And as far as the accusatory remarks I never said they have done something wrong attentional but it is a engineering problem. And needs addressed.

I won't sit here and do nothing, if I have to post every forum everyday until this is fix I will. I am not a sit by chick **** guy do nothing if one person reads this and it keeps someone from getting hurt then I did my job. And squeaky wheel gets the grease kubota will get tired of me sooner or later.

And people get on here that have know idea about one end of wrench from the other and try and tell people it's just a adjustment in the front end. This forum has some great people and good information and that's what's it's all about.

But sometimes I just shake my head at how Naive some people really are.

And if you would have read all my post as you said you have you would of seen I am ready to buy one of the new RTV x series for my side business. But not until they work this out or can prove to me it's safe.

I also mean no disrespect and I don't blame you or any other dealer. I have a machine that started thumping and clunking the first day I had it. There is NO back story or questions about how the machine was used.

I jacked it up with 11 hours on it and the REAR wheels have movement in them. I for one will not wait months until Kubota tells me tough luck. It has been here less than 3 weeks and it will go back to the dealer. I was told Friday by the dealer that he would get back to me. At 4 today I contacted him again because I had heard nothing. Once again he said he contacted Kubota service and is waiting for answers. The play that is in the wheels can do nothing but get worse. I have been around equipment all my life and have never seen anything so pathetic. They need to fix it or take the machines back and design them properly. Spend 20K plus and get a piece of junk.

ETA: My '07 90 didn't have any play in the wheels and there was never any thumping or clunking. I'd take that machine back in a minute. I may not have a heater, cab or a/c but I wouldn't have to worry about it breaking down every time I use it.

Thanks rapracing for backing me up!! Sorry to hear about your machine. I hope they get a fix for this soon for everyones sake!!

And if not I promise I will continue to fight the fight. Until somebody bans me from this site or Kubota comes to my place of work and says ok show us and fixes my works unit.

My name is on the line here after convincing my CEO to by a 30k RTV with heavy hydraulic snow plow, salt spreader, strobe, work lights, all,the bells and whistles. And I tell him now the wheels are falling off he wanted to buy a Polaris. He's not impressed!!

Guys, I'm sympathetic to your plight..However, go easy on the dealers that participate here...This issue has only been out there for a few weeks. Give Kubota a chance to respond. I'm certain that they will address this as they always do when the issue is severe...They replaced seats on BX23's because they weren't positioned perfectly (I missed the ability to take advantage of that one sadly)...I paid a ton for both of my Kubotas and I'd be ticked too...My previous RTV500 had some new machine issues and Kubota took care of them...Go easy, just sayin'....I have no connection whatsoever to Kubota or Messik, I'm just a fellow owner.

New stuff almost always have bugs and hopefully this one is isolated and quickly correctable...Give them a chance.

There seem to be a few that I know of that don't have this issue so it may very well be isolated to a certain run of production and that will take some time to hunt down..If they don't resolve this quickly, I'd ask them to take it back...

If you already own one and have this problem, stay on your dealer. If you don't, let the process run it's course.

Bad-mouthing accomplishes nothing
