We'll I had a post removed earlier in regards to one of the above post and expressed some concern with one of the members and there constant oversight of this issue. And they don't see what all the fuss is about.

I am done good luck to all with this issue I will handle mine on my own. And believe me I will.
There are plenty of other forums out there without the web police.

Oh one more thing never never !!!!! :)

Pretty obvious Kubota has a problem on their hands. Hard to figure out how this issue made out of the factory.

Has anyone disassembled the hub, etc to determine where slop is coming from?

I understand your frustration but taking out your frustrations on others isn't the right approach. This is a discussion forum..The word friendly is everywhere...If your post was removed, there was probably a pretty good reason. That doesn't happen very much around here.

The Kubota problem stated on this thread will never be resolved here, this is a place to share various questions and maybe solve it if someone has a solution. Kubota surely hears about some of this but their dealers have epic amounts of skin in the game (yours and theirs) and that's where the venting should occur, if needed.

Personally, I'd go straight to Kubota regional and work my way up if the dealer isn't working with you.

Best of luck on a solution, we'd all like to see one.

Ayep. You will catch more flies with honey than vinegar and a dealer such as Messicks probably has enough pull with Kubota to get someone out to take a look at it. They also have a good reputation for taking care of their customers and they probably see enough of these machines go through without a problem to not want to raise a five alarm fire over a few machines with a problem.

<img src="http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=363987"/>Here you go it's the aluminum housing that has all the play were it is mounted top and bottom.

This is for the rear wheel play.

Almost sounds like they forgot to install suspension bushings or something.

I think the cast aluminum hubs are a big part of the problem. There is no way to snug things up or the cast would break. It appears to have pins holding things together. If they could squeeze things a bit it may help. Maybe a steel hub assembly would help. There are bushings it appears but maybe not the right size. A couple thousandths here and a couple there and by the time you get to the outside of a 25 inch wheel it's 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch of play.

ETA: Just some thoughts. I am not an engineer or expert by any means.

The front end is snug as a bug....

Update: 3/6/14

190 oil top road miles, 41 hours and I did what Kubota told me to do...Drive it!

Well, I now have significantly more rear wheel slack and the front A-Arms are moving fore & aft!

Thought i'd share the info....

Thanks. I feel for all you guys, I was about to be with you. I was actively trying to decide if I should trade in my old one or sell outright to upgrade to the rtvx. Dealers might hate the internet but I am glad for it, what a research tool. I am confident this will be fixed but I know you guys have a headache with this.

Called my dealer yesterday. The fellow over the shop was concerned about it too. So happens they have a tech at Kubota school this week and he was notifying him to talk to Kubota concerning this while he is there. I will post when I know something. I really don't want to regret purchasing this instead of another Polaris. Hopefully, Kubota will step up and fix this.
