After looking at seats, I think I am going to get this Milsco XB200 w/armrests. Looks more comfortable than the XB180 and only 1.5" higher. s-l1600.jpg

Tried to remove my steering wheel as I was going to buy the new taller one, tried everything and could not get it off. Even tred using a faucet puller and no go. Anyone else have success in pulling the steering wheel ?

I would think the steering wheel would have a lock/locator in tiring wheel to post. Could be pressed in all the way thru or set screwed substantially.

The spline would make sense so it can't spin. But if it's a tapered fit, there would still need to be some method of keeping it from loosening upward. Driver pressure would be up, not down. Some kind of pin going thru, or set screw . . Or If there was a hidden bolt on top going down into the rod. But to do that a plastic "lid cap" would have to come off. The steering wheel gets alot of strain consideration because many pull on it getting on.

Now the insignia piece on mine came off on my 2015 model and there is no "obvious" cap underneath but. ???

Pull the cap off on the center of the wheel exposes a nut. That is what keeps it from loosing upwards.

That makes much more sense. And I assume the wheel puller didn't work. I assume the steering wheel doesn't have any metal that could rust to the column or you would have used a penetrating de-rusto. So I'd try "Freeze Off". It comes in a spray can and creates "a cold shot" to the area.

Haven't tried on the tractor but all my boat steering wheels were tapered shaft with a woodruff key and a threaded end for a nut to hold it on. Always takes penetrating fluid and light taps while pulling. I've used wheel pullers before. Sometimes takes a lot of figuring to find a way to put enough pressure on the steering wheel and not damage or mar up anything else.

That looks like it should work if has the attachment points for the bracket on the bottom. It looks like it also has the holes in the same location for the arm rests.
The arm rest kit I received looks exactly like the factory one and the holes align perfectly. It uses clip on speed nuts where the recesses are behind the mount holes in the seat.
