Well, I finally bit the bullet and bought a new tiller. After a 2 month search for a used one here in Wisconsin, I gave up and went with a new 5 foot KK II. It took me a while to justify it with the CFO, but after doing the math, figuring 2 rentals a year it will only take 4 years for it to pay for it's self. She gave in easily when I suggested that she run the old walk behind while I watched. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I tied it out last night and I have one word to say.... WOW! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I don't know how I have gotten along without one. The old bones just can't handle the beating from a walk behind and with about a half an acre to till and grass to plant, I figured now would be a good time to justify the purchase. After all of the grass is planted, I can still use it to till the garden, about 40 by 75 ft. Now I have to wait until all of this rain stops!

Your back, bones, and forearms will thank so much! Same reason I bought a Land Pride 1584 tiller. I just flat out got tired of being beat and worn down to blisters and fighting the tiller trying to launch itself into outspace everytime it hit a big rock.
