Looks like damn near the same hog if not THE same....

International Technologies?

IT is still around to a degree. Another company bought them out, they still have old stock on the shelves out in California. I have a post hole auger imported by them. If it wasn't for the expensive sipping, I would have ordered the OE cutters and the tip from them. This goes back 4 years though.

Well I finally remembered to check this today.... the knob is very hard to turn w a load (5' hog) lifted but I closed it all the way, opened 1/4 turn, lifted, then closed it as I killed the engine....
The hog stopped lowering as soon as it closed and stayed there till I opened the valve again.... Safe to say the issue is not the cylinder... what's next?

Edit... here's what's in my manual...
First two ruled out....

What about a clogged vent tube? This is the funny U-hook tube out the back. I also use it as a linch pin holder when switching attachments.

Mine won't stay up either unless I lock it. I had trouble with the linkage to the valve. So much play in it the height would move. I was able to correct that as long as the tractor is running. Which for me is very seldom do I even have to use it. YM2000 vent which appeared to be clogged by Dirt Dobbers. Never the less It was clogged just unscrewed it.

What do you guys think of this....
Hydraulic oil coming out past the pto shifter while driving... pto engagement status doesn't matter...
Fill level is perfect according to the dipstick...

I used a o-ring around the bottom of the rubber boot. Worked for me. Mine is in better shape and not power shift causing a problem but it's worth a try.

Hmmm dunno... will check

Is that supposed to go over the boot?
Is it normal to have oil in the boot?
