*I DIDN'T WANT TO DEPRIVE YOU OF PICTURES, SO SORRY FOR THE SUPER LONG POST*

Well, the beast has finally arrived! Looked pretty good to me. The dealer is going to go through it check the fluids and such to make sure it's all AOK, so it's not home... yet. I did take some of the attachments home, just to get them out of their way.

A couple things I noted.
- It DID have the HD bucket (see pics), but it did not have the cutting edge, so I'll still get one of them.
- No belly pan - whatever you call that thing - it doesn't have it. Still debating on that.
- The mesh on the grill is pushed in a little, but no biggie there.
- It appears to have a nice suspension seat, didn't know that before, and the one I checked out around me did not have the same suspension seat. Also I could flip the seat over much easier on this one, and in my multiple trips back to see the one around me, I no know it was missing that lever...

It is missing the rubber pads for under the stabilizer feet. If you are going to get them, get them before you set the stabilizers down on a surface that will ding them up and get them covered in hard to remove crud. They are very useful when you have to put a foot down on asphalt or concrete.

The belly pan is 100% worth whatever it costs. A lot of expensive hydraulics hanging out with little ground clearance under there.

Thanks Dave.

Have 0 plans to be on concrete currently. Where I'll be using it mostly is at the cabin and there's no concrete around. If I ever start using on concrete, I'll be sure to pick them up.

A quick look under there and everything is really exposed. I'm going to look into it. No chance you remember how much it was is there?

Martian,
First of all congratulations on your nicely equipped 110.

I agree with Curly Dave, get the bellypan right away. I have a hard time imagining putting that much wear on the grappel without having a bellypan.:(

About the grappel I would really suggest you straighten the teeth and weld in pieces of 1" to 1 1/4" solid rod about 6 inches inward between the teeth. This will help alot to keep them straight. Should not affect their ability to dig.

For the street pads you could cut out your own out of heavy truck tire tread.

That boxblade is one of the weakest ones I have ever seen, no supports to the rear blade. Hope it doesn't bend up like a pretzel.

IMPRESSIVE!! Now let's see that 110 do some mean work :D How was that drive with the 5410 on freezing rain? I only did it once with a 6330 and that was my last! and i agree with jenkinsph on about the welding rod between the teeth, thats how my we made my grapple. maybe that boxblade will work good on the 3120; for ballast

Thanks RD, I still think the 110 may have to make a stop in Texas one day:thumbsup:

I thought the same thing about the pan. Unless I'm thinking something different I believe it doesn't have one. I'll take a pic tomorrow to make sure.

I do plan on getting a welder, right now all my welding gets done by my families business (although I'm not part of it) they have done a lot of stuff for me, but refuse to let me pay. So I feel guilty taking all of it from them. I do plan on getting a welder (have had one in the past) and I'll make some braces.

That box blade is going to have to go, though. Probably end up with one that is half the weight and without the hydraulic rippers so I can get the braces to the back;) In all seriousness, this box blade is built like a tank.

Well, it was only a one way ride, let's put it that way. It's going to have to wait till tomorrow to make it back.

That box blade is all the 3120 wanted though, even lifting it up it was thinking twice. Don't think I'll even think about trying to tear something up with it!

Congratulations on the 110 TLB!

Wow!- You got a great deal on the 110 and a lot of attachments with it!:)- And I also seen a thumb.:D- I need a thumb on mine real bad.

Looks like the grapple would be an easy fix.- Just weld some support brackets in between the tines near the end to keep them from bending.

You will really like the 110 TLB!
