Time for a little showing and also WARNING... It's not my fault really, some time ago, I started reading posts by a guy that lives down by Barlows and money just flies out of my pockets. His neighbor is even affected by this Orange madness and I was able to buy his RTV. I've wanted one of these things since they started making them and one has finally followed me home.
It was about a three hour ride and then a couple of hours visiting with Ron and John, really had a good visit and then loaded up the two year old, 51 hr. machine and headed home. I talked to both of them on the phone about the machine before I made the trip, and they said it looked new, I went over it and couldn't find a blemish anywhere, it is spotless. Now I just need to convince the wife that it just has to have a set of after market wheels and tires. :cool2: I'm sure I'll have a few more pics to put up later.

WHAT DID YOU DO TO THE KUBOTA????? IT WAS ORANGE HERE IN CENTRAL KY. NOW IT LOOKS RED IN WESTERN KY.:confused2:
Glad to see you made it home and enjoyed the short visit. Usually pics are a requirement for proof but I saw you take it so I believe you have it, and it was ORANGE when you left with it. Believe you'll like it more every day and maybe even wish you'd have gotten one sooner.

I would have gotten the Red Big Red, but my Brother encouraged me to get the green one. That way when he browses it to go hunting, it doesn't stick out.

The RTV actually has a wider stance than the B series tractors so they do fill a trailer well from side to side

Had it out today and rode around the farm and my neighbors farm, haven't hauled anything yet, don't want to scratch the new bed, might have to get a bedliner. I'm really going to enjoy this thing.

go ahead and get an insert for the 2" receiver. You will have to shorten the insert tube, so hope you have a metal cut off saw. Then you can get a small trailer to carry extra stuff.

If your going to use it and get it dirty..........just bring it back!!!!!! :cool2:
I've bought the bedliner in a can stuff from Advance Auto which has $25 to $50 off codes often and one day :) I plan on painting my bed with it.

Or install the tube and drill a hole in it. Come to think of it, Ron had already done that but he may not have left it in the Reece slot.

That works, will need to drill anyway, BUT, having a loooong hitch tube puts extra leverage on the rear axle and the tongue weight limit is already really light. I worry about bending the rear axle. I USE my RTV and have pulled some really heavy tongue weight trailers with it over rough ground. The impulse weight of loaded 315 gallon single axle herbacide sprayer as it goes over hill and dale can be significant. I also support the hitch with a 4" ratchet strap attached to the bed ( I don't use the dump function.)

I have a hitch that has a ball and a pin hitch for my wagon, I cut about 1/2" off the end and it now fits. I painted it and it's hanging in the garage drying. I plan to haul wood in the wagon. Next week is supposed to be better weather so I'll get some pics up and try to get a video of the wagon unloader.

I got to work the RTV a little today, not quite a load, but all the wood that I had down. Oh, John, ask Ron if he's cashed the check yet, I might have to bring the RTV back for a refund, it's starting to get dirty. He had it for two years and it stayed spotless, must be some defect if it gets dirty in such a short time.:D

I saw Ron yesterday evening and told him I'd told you to bring it back if you were going to be using it and getting it dirty. He just grinned. He said he's still looking for owners manual but hadn't found it yet but he'd keep up the search.
I search for stuff alot and even ask my wife if she's seen it and of course she denys it. Some times I find it later where she put it but often times I don't until years later when I have no need for it. Told Ron I'd tell you he's married and you'd understand. Another grin. He then was off to Lowes to get some trees to put in the holes I dug for him with my BH.

Too late, I picked up a bed liner at the Kubota dealer today and just got it installed. It was really simple to install with self tapping shoulder screws. I got them to throw in a can of Kubota gray paint and after I installed the liner, I took it back out and painted the holes and later reinstalled the liner. The RTV is ready to work now.

It was ready to work with out the liner.:cool2: You and Ron have to keep your stuff looking new.
