New tractor owner

I am Rick, first-time tractor owner in Maine . . . well, I bought a JD1023E, if that qualifies as a ' real tractor '. I got tired of trying to clear my long, steep driveway of snow by pushing it around with the usual P/U snowplow combo, so I decided to give a snow blower a try. So far, so good . . . haven't sheared too many bolts yet. But the sometimes wet, heavy snow just doesn't like to go thru the blower! I have a couple questions which I'll post on the proper forum.

Congratulations on your new tractor, yes it is a tractor, in my opinion at least and we have a 1025R as well as several others up to 85HP.
