What is the make and model. I can tell you for sure. Usually, a drummer don't know squat but you already know that. In reality there are a very select few that are corn or alternative bio mass fuel capable. Harman has a few and so Does US Stove. The others are only wood pellet capable. Most of the older ones like Amaze-a-Blaze are and so are the stand alone boilers.

I should start a thread about what and how people on here heat with (if they do heat that is).
Better post it on Front Porch. It might survive a few days that way.

OnTBN there are actually people that get paid to heat their homed.

Just a thought Richard, nothing more. If I want to discuss biomass heat I do it on the Firewood Hoarders Forum or Hearth.com, not here.

Are there people on there that get paid to heat their homes? 😉

Huh? How does that happen?

This same thing happens in real estate. If us landlords fall too far behind on inflation/rent increases and the current tenant doesn't want to pay then we find new tenants that will pay.
Ideally, but with rent increases limited to 1/2 consumer price index it’s a long spiral down…

Only saving grace is no restriction if tenant voluntarily vacates on new starting rent…

I'm a commercial landlord Ultra, sorry I probably should have stated that.

They most certainly go down.
When there are layoffs in a downturn, the new re-hires start at a lower salary when things pick up again.
Wages haven't increased that much in this cycle compared to the massive corporate profit increases that ran up the inflation.
He's not talking about the wages of an individual, or even a particular industry.

Median and average annual wages in the US have only dipped a few times since the 1930s. That is not the same as "real" wages which are adjusted for inflation.

Corporate profits are a symptom of inflation, not a cause. Inflation makes the numbers bigger, hence more 'profit'. Money Supply accounts for most inflation. The other big cause is artificial wage increases (those not tied to corresponding increases in productivity). When we got off the gold standard and allowed governments to simply print more money whenever they wished, inflation became a persistent issue in the world. Prior to that, you would see periods of inflation alternating with periods of deflation which tended to keep wages and prices consistent over the long-term. Of course, it made for a bit more of a rollercoaster ride. Deflation can be a big problem, too.

Their systems are so efficient they virtually make money using them. Or so they'll claim. 🤪😉

Triple Net commercial is the only way to go... Business to Business avoids many pitfalls...

I love my commercial investments and even more that my brother handles these... I am point of contact for legacy residential and the shift during my tenure with all regulations and responsibilities is why I 1031 to commercial.

Never heard of that.
It was in jest Daryl. Aimed at the posters that compete to claim the cheapest heating costs. I should have added the winky face.

Start a thread and we'll see where it goes.

Years ago, there was a home improvement show that included a tour of a historic home in Europe that more or less looked like a large one room living quarters with a stone curb running through the middle of the room. They apparently kept livestock on one side of the curb during the winter as a source of heat, and the people lived on the other side.

I would guess some actually do claim that. If they produce solar or wind power, the utility gives them the impression they are making money.

Sounds to me like a smelly existence.

The Irish used to keep their Irish Dexter cattle inside during cold months for their body heat

My dealer said the same thing and never moved one of them all year. So take what a dealer says with a grain of salt.

I get it, a lot of sales people create an artificial sense of urgency and are good at it. In my case, I don't think this was the case. I sat in his office and heard him call the other store that he had just sent my tractor to and told them he would need it back because he had it sold. They weren't happy because every time he sent them a tractor he had to ask for it back because his store was selling them and there's wasn't.

I really think it is very specific to location/dealership/region etc. In my tractor search I did find multiple dealers who had lots of inventory (not close to me) and some dealers had little or none, especially Kubota had very little in my area, at least the ones I called. But I wasn't really set on any particular brand. I had a short list of MF, Kubota and was considering Mahindra and Kioti. I honestly didn't even have Yanmar on my list but glad I added it.

At one time I was looking for a new RTV and ended up spinning my wheels.

All the ones on the lot and in crates were sold.

So when will you have any available… don’t know?

What would one cost out the door… give me a ballpark so I’m not wasting your time.

I went online to build… can I build one and is that your price?

Really got nowhere so my Suzuki is my RTV and only cost a $1,000 plus a transmission bearing.

Hard to use the dump bed, though. 😀
