Late congrats on your new tractor. I like the pics you've posted of it. Your signature says you got the 60" MMM with it. Just wanted to ask how you like it, and if you have any pics of it with the mower. Thanks

I haven't done too much with the tractor since we're done mowing here and just waiting for snow. The MMM won't be on the tractor till spring. If it works as good as the BX, it'll be a keeper. I've got more time running out to the mailbox than anything else so far. I'm getting more comfortable with the controls. Reports to follow when we get some white stuff!

Just seen your post on getting a new B2320 and congrats! I have a B2620 with a 60" MMM, you will love the upgrade and wonder why you ever had a BX before. Did you get to do much mowing yet? I have mowed our cow pasture when the gas was as high as the hood, with the deck raised to it's highest setting it went right through the grass. I mow my yard, 3 acres, in mid range and takes about 1 hr 40 mins. You could probably shave 15/20 minutes off that if I didn't have to mow around some trees and tight areas, I leave my FEL on all the time so that adds to manuvering around things. I am now looking at getting a snowblower possibly. I too have to kick my ROPS back a notch, it's just about an inch too tall for a 7' door. I only use my high range for traveling, if you need pushing or pulling power, drop her down in 4 low and make sure your not tied to your house cause you will pull it along.......

Haven't read through the entire thread, but if you haven't yet gotten this suggestion, here it is:

When I moved up to a folding ROPS that was too tall for my garage door opening from a lower fixed ROPS, I got into the habit of putting an orange cone at the doorway after pulling out to put the ROPS up. I figured if I missed the orange cone when putting the tractor back in the garage, I had no business driving anything. If you're that worried about forgetting the orange cone, stick it on the tractor when you park at the end of the day.

I no longer need the orange cone, as it is now a habit to stop to put the ROPS down before entering the garage, but the cone stopped me a number of times from running into the doorway the first couple months of ownership.

I used to think, no way would I hit my garage but I can totally see how it could happen. The cone idea is good and easy. I've been lazy and just left the ROPS at half mast. Definitely will put it up when I get on hills. I have some cones already leftover from the business so no extra expense and you have to get off the tractor anyway.
Plowed once but 4" is hardly a test. The only advantage over the BX so far is the higher speeds which I really do like. I plow a big area off the back porch for the dog and that was real quick. Hopefully we get a big storm and I get to really test it out.

Snow and more seat time finally. The pedal positions are becoming more natural to me. I like sitting up higher. Plows about the same as the BX, except for the higher speeds. Makes getting the job done faster which is good and bad. With the much lower RPMs the noise level is so low that in the house it's barely noticeable, which is nice when it's 4am and you're out plowing. I really think I could go up to a 6' rear blade no problem from my 5' . Not sure if it would still be able to spin.
I'm looking forward to a big snowstorm so I can play some more and give it a real test. I'm still very happy with my trade from the BX. There's not much a BX couldn't do vs my B. Kind of like going from a half to a 3/4 ton truck, If you don't need it, you won't miss it, but it's nice to know it's there. Pics and more to come when we get some "real" snow.

more white stuff! I occasionally do a neighbors driveway an was amazed how fast it was with the B. I can't say it enough but for those to whom it matters, the higher speeds of the B is great. I also do a 1/2 mile road for light stuff or push the banks back on my way out to do around the mailboxes. The B doesn't get sucked into the drifts like the BX did and I can get further into the drifts. All the more reason to get a 6' blade.
I did have to use the diff lock on an icy upgrade but never had to lift the blade. Very pleased so far with the snow performance.

Can you turn your blade, the new 6', around? There is room to do so? Room to spare? Can you post a pic of it? No pressure.

I still have the 5' blade. It just barely covers the tractor width when angled and makes pushing banks back harder as you have to drive in them. I'm going to look at one after Xmas as this tractor can handle the 6' no problem. I bet it could take a 7' for snow but nothing would be safe around me. I'll let you know!
