I wondered the same thing till I enlarged the last picture, they slide up into frame.

Is a trailer that size in the $4500 to $5000 range? I was going to get a 14,000 pound trailer (2- 7000 lb axles) but my son talked me into getting the 20,000 lbs trailer in case we wanted to haul anything bigger. It has tandem axles with dual wheels and is a 25 foot with a 5 foot dove tail. It cost us about $6800 which was a couple thousand more than I wanted to spend. The trailer weighs 6000 pounds empty so you can only haul a 14,000 pound load. I pull an old restored Farmall M tractor and have the 3 fold down ramps. I ordered the LED lights which really work well. I was hoping to save a few thousand because the trailer you have is actually the one I was looking for only I do need the 30 foot because I haul a wagon in front of the tractor. You have a nice looking trailer. The heavier trailer worked out good for my son, he keeps it at his house and uses it about 10 to 1 more than me. However, he does keep it in shed and takes good care of it.

The ramps are self storing in the dovetail portion. I got those because of the flexibility of the wheelbase (4-wheelers, etc.)

It still amazes me how cheap trailers are in the US. Our dollars are now at parity, so the difference is even more highlighted. A new tag along 20 ft 10,400 GVWR carhauler tilt trailer is $3950. A 7000 lb 16 ft car hauler is $2475. A 102"x30' GN, 5' beaver tail, 5' flip over ramps, front tool box, treated wood deck is $9995. These prices are from one local busy trailer dealer, all Canadian manufactured units.

I just had a 24' 14000# bumper pull built for $4700, so that is a good price. That was the best price I could find. Most of our stuff comes from the midwest or Texas, so I would imagine folks get better prices elsewhere. I know that trailer would be over $5000 around here (I think $5800 was the price on the trailer that was almost identical to that). Sometimes I hate hearing what people pay for things on this forum.
Apparently, we make the big bucks here, so we have to pay more. It's all relative though. $100,000 a year of income here doesn't go as far as $35,000 does in other parts of the country. I just keep telling myself that I'd have to make $250,000 if I lived in NY, LA or San Fran. If I had skills, I'd be out of here

Oh, I forgot to mention another $650 for tax and license added to that. Got to support those less fortunate, even though our unemployment % is in the negative.
