Yeah the front rims are white, but rattle-canned black by previous owner.
The rear rims look like they were bathed in brine for 5 years.

Ain’t no bringing them back.

Best solution may be to find used white rims, paint black and put tires on them?

Dude they look better than "not half bad". It looks $600 better (less the price of the spray paint). That is what you said new fender parts would cost.
I'm partial to the old fashioned silver, or Tennessee chrome.

Yeah I think I will just keep these painted fender extensions and put my savings into the rear splash panels. Getting prices on them early this week.

I think I may have a blown exhaust manifold gasket or a hole in muffler. Sheesh…this is going to be quite a long term restoration.
When it’s cold you get a noticeable rapid tap/tap/tap/tap…..

I think these are school bus rims, since they are already painted black. Seller says they are 8.25 x 22.5.
I don’t know the rating on them.
Since I have a 30K rear axle and a 14K front axle, I need them to be rated at 7500lbs.

Wants $80 each for them. Something tells me they won’t be rated for 7500

No, but seller says he will take a look at markings.
Not real convinced he will follow through. It’s not like its a Rolex watch worth 5K.

I did a crappy rattle can job on the fender extensions. It’ll be temporary until I can save up some play money for new ones.
I guess it don’t look 1/2 bad…..
