I got my new seat today. Took about 10 minutes to install on the BX24. 8 bolts. Much more comfortable! NIce shape, no forward tilt and nice, plush foam.
My dealer was a champ. Apologized for it taking so long, traded even for the old seat. No $$$. I asked what he was going to do with the old one and he said he'd probably sell it to someone in need of a replacement. I asked... He said $20... It's going to make a great garage stool!
A couple of things: Make sure you keep the little plastic plugs out of the back of the old seat. You know, the ones that plug the holes where the armrests bolt on. The new seat doesn't come with the plugs.
Also, worth consideration by our vertically challenged friends; the new seat is much thicker and higher in the front than the old seat. This eliminates the forward slope but I noticed a little pressure on the backs of my legs. I'm 6'1" so it isn't a problem but I don't think my 5'3" wife is going to be able to reach the floor. It's not quite that extreme, but a shorter operator may find his legs going to sleep after a while. Obviously, if you can hold on to the old seat you have the option of an even more comfortable garage stool if the foam in the new seat doesn't compress enough to fit you.

The DW just got home. I asked her to try out the seat. She adjusted the seat forward where she would need it and her comment was "You could watch TV sittin' here!". So much for the concern for pressure on the back of the legs.

My dealer is STILL waiting for his to come in... and now he's annoyed with Kubota since when I first asked him about it - he was going to give me the floor stiffener... when I called last night to tell him my floor busted... he was a bit fired up - had the seat shipped when it was supposed to - this never would have happened.
