UPDATE: Dealer ordered 42. Received 3 so far. I was #2. They are providing to customers before they are even putting on thier in-stock tractors. Sure is great to have a good dealer...
~25.8 minutes to install myself. Sortof a pain in the butt with the Woods rotating seat conversion for the BH. Once I figgered it out, things went together famously.
Regarding the seat: HEAVEN. I never really understood why the old seat even HAD a back...I had to artificially straighten just to contact it. With the new seat, you are in a very well-sculpted pocket. There aren't any pressure points (like the point of your bum contacting the bottom of the old seat after a while) and you are naturally in a very relaxed, if not very slightly reclined, position. The foam is of very high quality and the bolsters are just right for me (6'-0" and ~195#). If you are overly rotund, perhaps the whole thing could feel slightly confining, but I'll reserve judgement until I get a rotund person to sit in it.
It was funny because I installed the seat and took the trash out (a couple runs down the driveway), put the tractor away, then straightaway sat in my $800 office chair in which I can easily spend 10 hours a day (blessed to work at home). I would honestly rate the comfort level as quite similar, if not the same. It will be a wonderful perch from which to terrorize my yard.
As folks have said: GET IT. It's worth it. I'd say it was worth a $150+ replacement cost if that is what you had to do (but even better at $35 or whatever your dealer is charging). It changes the tractor experience THAT MUCH.
The worst part is that at the end of a day's work, it is going to be much tougher to get OUT of this seat than the old one. Almost a little too comfy...
