If it included shipping to your door, it would be OK... but you're right, if that's the "you pick it up" price.MOPAULY said:Looks like the dealer is making a few bucks on that deal....
I kinda see your point (though I'm sure those postcards will be more than paid for). I don't mind paying a little extra for service either. By the way I checked out Chappell's website and you're right that barn looks pretty neat. If I'm ever up that way I might just have to swing by and check the place out.studway said:I don't really have a problem with the price. A lot of people are saying that their dealer is playing dumb about the whole thing. My dealer went to the trouble of putting out a little postcard to every affected owner. Someone put a couple of hours into putting the postcard together. Chappell isn't maybe your typical tractor dealership. They have a big post and beam showroom with hardwood floors (yes, tractors parked on hardwood floors, indoors) and little pedal tractors to amuse your kids while you drool over the tractors. Service is exceptional. I don't mind paying a little extra if I get a little extra in return.
I haven't heard any complaints about seat comforts on any L series tractors. I liked mine!!DiezNutz said:Oh there's probably some L owners that are feeling like the ugly step-sisters through all of this... let's see... L stands for Leftovers? Late to the party? Last picked in gym class?
<ducking> I kid! I kid!![]()
I know, technically there's ways for the L guys to get their hands on one too, so I'm not really rubbing it in.
