New warranty BX seat!

Hey DiezNutz,

I'm posting in this thread simply to get it to the top again. I agree there's lots of information and opinion in this one and it's floundering since the other "seat" thread began. Yeah, Kubota has obviously heard their customers and responded with an greatly improved seat, but as you validly observe, many of us have yet to put our backsides in one. Because the sheer size of the views and posts, which you KNOW they're reading regularly, perhaps they will have greater incentive to push those new babies out the door faster. You think?

You think?[/quote]As much as I'd like to believe that there's three shifts working 'round the clock on these, the realist in me says probably not. Kubota likely looks at it as they're doing us all a favor and selling us (er.. the dealers) the seats "at cost" for something that isn't, by comparison, a critical safety recall. I guess we just have to be patient.

just a point of info there is no part number for the upgrade seat it is a whole goods part so there is no number as per parts dept

No surprise from Chappell - I spoke to them about purchasing my BX2350 last year - they not only lied to me about their pricing and a proposed deal, they actually were scheming with another dealer to price gouge me as well.

Total Jackbutts - this ad is another example of their dishonesty to customers and their prospects...

Neither dealer got my business - but you all knew that...

I have no reason to defend them, but you have to give them some credit for actually having the seats in stock. Look at all the people talking about their dealers playing dumb on the seats or not having any. Chappell had 10 of them in stock when I went in there a few weeks ago and they said they would send out the postcard when they got more. Clearly, on this particular issue with the seat, their service is superior to most dealerships. They are asking you to pay a bit more for the extra service and I think that is fair.

if you really want the new seat what is the limit on the amount you would spend? compared to the actual price of around 200.00-- 50.00 now is a bargain....get em while they r hot
