New warranty BX seat!

Well I may as well get involved in this historic thread. Surely this is some sort of record!! I contacted my dealer who has always been super to deal with, I have bought 4 Botas from him. He knew nothing about the seat thing. My BX2200 has never been comfortable and I hoped for an inexpensive seat from this program. He said he checked and it is only for models sold of late. Hmmm.....some folks here say they have gotten seats for the older tractors and couple that with the fact I have done alot of business with him I would have thought he would try to accomodate me. Evidently he has to turn in a serial # to justify getting/providing these seats.

My seat was from a 2002, BX2200, $50 and my old seat, and I had the new one. Better ask again.

NY, from years past I knew you had one about the same age as mine. I was wondering how your deal turned out. Thanks and congrats on a butt/back friendly seat. I am sure I will get one sooner or later.

Little update on my new replacement B3030 seat. I spent about 4 hrs. Saturday doing a bit of mowing. It was a beautiful sunny day around 70 degrees and just perfect for a bit a seat testing. About 3 hrs. in I remembered that I was supposed to be doing seat testing and noticed that I wasn't getting tired and beaten to death as was usually the case on the old one. So...when I finished for the day I was certainly pleased with this replacement. Now why only 4 hrs. you ask? Somehow I managed to loose the top link pin, then got stuck up to the axels trying to mow to close to the lake edge - sometimes it's just time to call it a day! But the new seat is certainly a winner.

I was going to leave the fender as-was... and just put on the kit... but my dealer didn't want me to have a broken tractor...

Concur. You can get one, you just need to ask the right dealer. If your dealer is unable to accomodate, I'd ask around. If that doesn't work, go steal it from somewhere...it's worth the jail time.

thanks about the seat update went over to my Dlr. parts guy said to get him proof and that i was the 2nd person to imply. Looked it up for a campian on the seat but found nothing.But wwhen i was leaving i noticed new BX24 with a new style seat.I will go back and see what I can get.
