My dealer says they never ordered any seats and now can only order them for $190...
Of course they never notified me of the program...
Is that the best I'll be able to do?

Thanks for the photos! What a difference it must be, how did they expect anybody to not slide out of the old seat?

I'd contact one of the dealers who have posted offers on this thread. They seem to be more interested in your business than your dealer. Guess I'm lucky that my dealer seems to value my business even though I'm one of their small customers. They didn't contact me - this website sometimes means we're on top of developing information before the dealer - but eagerly responded by getting the PIB and ordering seats. No chip on their shoulder either when I ask what must surely sometimes be dumb questions. Just plain nice to deal with.

Got an email from Messick's last wek or so. Said the seat I ordered over a month ago was still back ordered and didn't know when to expect it. Asked if I wanted to cancel the order. I expect I'll be lucky to get it by Xmas if at all but I'm stll going to keep my order in place.

Thanks to TBN, I may be buying that Kubota after all. I had a BX2350 brand new demo unit that came with the old seat and after 2 hours of mowing, my back and rear felt like they went throught about 10hrs of mowing off-road!
My neighbor has an older BX2200 and his seat was way better than the 2350's. Hopefully the new seat will take care of all that.

I've developed a serious disdain for all of the dealers in my area. NONE of them knew about the seat issue until they looked up the Bulletin Number that was disclosed here. NO local dealer ever ordered any seats. "My" dealer never mentioned anything about the fender support kit.
Are most Kubota dealers devoted only to big farm customers? Is it because compact tractor customers are not likely repeat customers that they get so little consideration?
It seems to me that Kubota puts too much responsibility into the hands of their dealers. They should be sending notices directly to their customers.
How did customers learn about these things before the Internet and this forum?
