New warranty BX seat!

Check out E-Bay some of the "Old Seats" being sold by dealers for $100! Here is one that just sold for $109. It looks like the dealer is taking off the old seat that came with the tractor, replacing it with the new seat and getting some profit from the old seat! Anyone that does not belong to TBN and or not heard of this deal, is getting an old poor designed seat, I feel sorry for the sore butts in all those seats.

Unbelievable. Never would have known about this seat swap if it hadn't been for TBN!
I read about this here on Wednesday, and yesterday stopped by my dealer. My salesman wasn't available, so they referred me to the owner. We'd never met. He didn't ask for a serial number, didn't even ask me anything, just said he had some of the new seats in the back. Went back himself, came out with a new seat all wrapped in plastic, handed it to me and said "Merry Christmas."
Now that's service. And this dealer's been like that all along.
(Could you guess they're doing great?)

Any word from Canadian dealers? I got mine from the states and found it to be worth it, but last time I checked the Canadian dealers had no idea about this. I'm sure it's all expired now, but anybody out there get one from a Canadian dealer??

My BX2350 is coming off warranty in February and I just picked it up from the dealer after they installed a new battery cover, floor supports and seat. The first two were covered by warranty because they were deemed poor design when the parts failed in the early production of new model BX's and the seat was paid for by the regional sales rep's budget because Kubota Canada wouldn't replace it under warranty. The dealer's service manager took the sales rep to task after I explained all the items that Kubota US was replacing under warranty and the sales rep caved. I learned about the replacement of these items on TBN and I am grateful to all who posted and helped educate me.

Just got mine today, thought the program was finished. My dealer had a couple left over. Looks like a much nicer seat. The dealer spoke very highly of it and told me to keep my old seat. Not a bad deal.

Not quite...there is a thread in the "Projects" portion of the General Forum about digging a pond has 1,326 posts and nearly 150,000 views. Pretty amazing in its own right. It has been current and active since Feb 2005. It was started by Mr. EddieWalker (we've seen him over here in Kubota-Land) and is a pretty amazing read.

I have read some of that thread. I would have to take a week of vacation to get through all of it.

This thread is not getting the attention that it did before. Obviously, Kubota has been shipping the improved seats to dealers all over the country. We would agree with the many who have posted before that it is a vast improvement over the old one. Kubota stepped up to the plate, and should have. The old design was horribly uncomfortable, and some would say dangerous.

Yeah that pond thread is something else, very good work there, and what the writer calls a "pond" would probably qualify as a LAKE in my book!

I called my dealer a few months back. He was unaware of the issue but I gave him the internal document number and the source of info and he said he had the prairie province rep coming in a few days and he would see. I noted that there were few incidents on the Atlantic seaboard of owners getting a discount on a new seat and one incident that I heard of a significant discount. To date I have not heard back and would think that this is a negative response from the area rep. Admittedly, I have not been diligent in pursuing this, probably to my own misfortune and should get on the phone to him. I actually emailed Messicks, I know thats what you did, when a month had passed and they are no longer taking orders. If worse comes to worse I will just buy one as the piece of art work on there now just has to go.
