I went to my dealer today to get the fluids and filters for the 50 hr service on my bx2350. When I got there the salesman I bought my tractor from told me about the seat issue. I had already read about it on TractorByNet. It was something I was going to ask about anyway but he beat me to it. He said if I bring back my old seat I could get the new one for $35.00. I took it off tonight and will go after the new one tomorrow.

I was just sitting here thinking how there is something much more profound about this whole seat issue than the actual seat itself... it has been a real eye-opening experience for many folks about how their dealers really approach customer satisfaction/service, as we've read how the dealer responses to this issue have totally run the gamut. I would say that any dealer that's been caught with their pants down over this would do well to employ some damage control. As much as anything, this is a public relations issue.

Dealer just told me that he can get them but has to order 12. He is not wanting to do that and is trying to work something out with other dealers in the area.
