New warranty BX seat!

Just got the call from my dealer.. He got twenty seats in. He put my name on one.. $20 plus the old seat..

I got my new seat the other day from Emerich's in NY. All I can say is what a difference from the original one. Kevin also took care of me on the new operators platform and reinforcements. It's like I got a new tractor.

I was at my dealer the other day to pick up oil and filter for 100hr change.
I was able to try out the new seat on one of the tractors. Wow! the new seat is great. So much more support than the old one. Now its just a waiting game till they get the new seats in.

This thread is slowing down. Several who were posting regularly here aren't present now.

Perhaps it's a sign that Kubota is pushing the seats out the door faster. Got mine last week. Oh yeah, it's great. Just imagine all the complementary sales the dealers have made when B owners came in for the seat.

Well I might as well keep the wheels squeak'n.....
I've been on my dealers list for a couple months now and he supposedly put his order in before I got on the list. He say's he hasn't recieved any yet.

On a side note I had to see for myself just what the hoopla was about this new seat so when I was picking up the materials for my 300 hr I did get to sit on a newer BX2350 w/the new seat and I could tell an immediate improvement. Course sitting right beside it was a BX24 w/the old seat and the difference was night and day.
(the B3030 I sat on and spent alot of time checking out, also had the new seat was was very comfortable

)
I certainly don't qualify for a new replacement for free and don't expect too but,,,, if Kubota (and the dealer) want to see me upgrade on down the road, which may happen sooner than later, they should keep that in mind when pricing it

I had to buy a rear mount snow blower and forced him to give me a seat as part of the deal. I didn't care where it came from as long as I walked out the door with it when I picked the blower up.

Someone somewhere is waiting a little longer for theirs now. Sorry to whoever is waiting because of my stealing.

i think a lot of people are getting discouraged on the seat program more so than people actually getting the seat also i spoke to emerichs parts dept on tues and they told me that they have not heard anything on the seat program ,but something is in the works....go figure

I live in rural South Carolina and just contacted my local dealer to inquire about this. I have a 2003 B7500HST and was wondering if I would qualify for one. They told me that they ordered 60 seats and have recieved their first set of 6! They said that they have 3 left and it was first come first serve at $40. Needless to say I left for my lunch hour right then and now have one. I am still not sure if it will fit my B7500 or not. I will find out tonight.

2 months wait. Finally got it. $20 and traded in the old seat. They can have it. New one is a vast improvement. Feel the difference immediately when you first sit in it. Butt is cradled and back is supported. Mowed for an hour and for the first time didn't get off with a power wedgie. Best $20 ever spent.
