Instead of using a large booster pump (after 3000g water tank) has anyone installed 3+ smaller booster pumps at their destination/connections?

Water Tank --1.5" Fitting--> Manifold--> Gravity Pressure -- 1.5" Pipe--> House Pressure Pump --> 3/4" House Connection
--------------------------------------------------------------------> Garage Pressure Pump --> 3/4" Garage Connection
--------------------------------------------------------------------> Chicken Coop Pressure Pump --> 3/4" Coop Connection
--------------------------------------------------------------------> Barn\Animals Pump --> 3/4" Barn\Animals Connection
--------------------------------------------------------------------> Orchard Pump --> 3/4" Orchard Connection

The destinations from the manifold range in distances of 100', 200', and one is only 2' or so elevation change. The entire system will be around 1000' connected in a circle with legs to each destination internally.

- Would I not receive enough water to the smaller pumps with 1.5" pipe?
- Would it be worth building a platform and putting the tank approx 8' higher in the air?
- Would I burn up smaller pumps for running them 4-8hrs (orchard) ?
- What kind of temp ranges can these smaller pumps operate in compared to larger pumps?

The goals are: Fewer single points of failure, can operate smaller pumps at 12v or 24v from solar without inverter/loss.

Current setup: 45psi pressure in house with pressure tank and well rated at 14gpm all on 3/4" from the pressure tank to the house.

Thoughts? Ideas?
