Not sure if the higher lift cap. has anything to do with a lower lift height or not. Are you referring to the cruise control? I don't have that, I have the open station S/S. NO I don't have the 3rd function either maybe I will someday cause I sure would like to have a grapple.
I see. Just curious if it was a true 3rd function. I ordered the LS kit and its at the dealer along with my 50hr service filters.

Thanks!

I contacted my dealer about filters a couple of days ago. He didn't have them in stock but he called me back the next day and said he had ordered them. Not sure about the price yet, do you know what your price will be? As far as the 3rd function kit I believe they said it was around $1100, does that sound right??

No price yet. My dealer is about 1 hr away so I am having him ship them to me to save time. Work is real busy right now.

Did you look at the WR Long 3rd function kit. I installed WR Long on both tractors and recommend it highly.

Any reason you don't put fluid in your rear tires? Makes all the difference in the world. If freezing is an issue, you can use Rim Guard which is best weight / gallon, or windshield washer fluid, or diluted RV Antifreeze. Don't use calcium chloride though. That is old school PIA?

Im not sure what the kit brand name is.

I dont load my tires because Im up on lawns backfilling trenches all the time. I have to keep s light foot print.

This tractor is easier on lawns than my dads 30hp MF 1529. Less psi I guess.

Mine are loaded and do no damage to lawn.

No I don't think so... My Massey lifts more than my LS did, and it's rated at 2527 @ 113", whereas the LS only lifts to 96". I'm not sure how the numbers would compare if rating them at different heights.

I also think Massey underrates their loaders, because my loader is rated for almost 1000 lbs less of breakout force, yet it out lifts my old LS in pallet fork lifts too.

LS sources these loaders from AmerEquip... I wish they'd just have them redesigned to add more height and especially, dump clearance.

Seems like LS may have been listening. The XU5055 has the larger loader. 115.5 inch lift height and over 3k in capacity. I know it's classified as a utility but it doesn't look any bigger than the CUT. Same hp as the xr4155.

No that's a bigger machine, next class up. Compare that loader to the other machines in its' class, and that loader is also lower (in height) than the others.
