New Year Same Yard Problems. HELP!!!

Ran across this thread I started in April 2014 where I stated "Well another year has gone by and my yard still looks like crap" and well it's now April 2017 and my yard still looks like crap.:laughing:

My lawn looks like that but I thought it was a southern thing from the heat.
