I'm trying to understand, I believe this is a diverter valve, but looking for confirmation.

Since this picture has been taken, the seals have broken down and it no longer functions. It's leaking fluid from the handle and as well, I see the oil seal on the other side of the valve.

The front end loader no longer lifts, before that it has been periodically problematic.

I replaced the tranny fluid last week with Permatran XL, could this have caused
seal damage or is it just bad timing? The FEL was problematic before the change, in terms of slowness.

Also, I'm looking to replace it, all I want is something with a lever that
only enables either Front End Loader (which has it's own controls) or 3pt
hitch. Any thoughts on what would do something that simple and not
cost me $100 bucks (which seems high).

Thanks.

Yes that is a deverter valve. U can get a power beyond valve which will let u add a valve for the loader or use ur 3pt hitch.

Just an update, rather than buying a new one, I spent $10 dollars and had all the o-rings replaced on this unit. I was happy it could be fixed.
