Comparison Newbee--Should I go for the B2620

Thanks again for all of the advice. It sounds like most of you guys think the B. I do think the stability of the BX on some of my banks is something to definitely consider that I had not thought of. Any more opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks again

Sorry for the duplicate thread

That was one of the primary reasons I went with the BX and have had no regrets; originally intended to get a B2920.

Either is going to be a compromise in one area or another, so you will have to prioritize.

Everything is indeed a trade-off. I went with the BX. I need the ground clearance of the B when cultivating taller plants in my market garden. But, I need the smaller body of the present BX when negotiating tight spots near the deer fencing. I also love the BX for plowing snow in tight areas. See? It just is what it is. Choices and decisions.

Not unlike the RV issue. Motorhome? nice, but have a tag along vehicle to drive when you get there. Tow a 5th Wheel? The bed of your truck has the hitch cutting down on stowage space. Compromises.

I'm a newbee tractor owner, and only have this to offer: I had bought a B2920 w/60" MMM and was hugely surprised by how maneuverable the tractor is. My original plan was to supplement it with a large garden tractor mower (for trimming), and I've found I can keep my old 42" ZTR for that job, since the trimming is minimal. I mow about 4.5 acres. I do have some slight roll on my property, but so far have not noticed any issues with the 2920.

Thank you, it is nice to know that the B is able to be maneuvered. This is one of my primary concerns.

Thanks again

So I decided on the B2620

Called to order today, well they just sold out of this model. Now I am getting the 2920 for only 200 dollars more.

Seems like a good deal

Will post pics and updates

Thanks again for all the advice
