Thanks Careyo63 & California. One more thing I forgot to address. I have the PTO overrun clutch on my 2210d that Fredrick's put on, does that make a difference with either tiller, the rs1400 or US model?

I know what the overrun clutch is for, but don't know if it affects the drive shaft for the yanmar tiller, or the way it will hook up. Any comments? Also Careyo63 what sealed bearing did you buy to replace that? Any part numbers? And thanks or the fluid change info California and Winston

@Jtullis13-

Nice tractor. I like the oil pressure and temperature add ons. Where did you get the temp sensor mounting block you inserted into the coolant hose? I have a temp sensor waiting to go on, just haven't found (or looked very hard) for a way to insert it into the coolant line. Thanks.

No the tiller will be slowed down as long as it's lowerd into the ground. The overrun clutch comes into play mostly from the inertia from a mower. There is nothing to slow it down in turn without a overrun clutch the mower will turn the PTO drive shaft causing it to turn the rear wheels.

I didn't have to replace it. I read about it when it was talked about on here. When I was doing maintenance I removed the cover and wasn't happy with what I found. Lucky I caught it because it Wouldn't of lasted long. I just made sure not to have a problem and repacked everything. Grease is cheap so I may have even overdone it.

Thanks wooly acres. I like it too. I got the adapter off eBay, and I think Scotty did too. I don't know what your radiator hose size is, but here is an item number for one on eBay that is a 28mm. 330903697959. Just type that item number in and search for other ones like it. I will try to paste a link in the explains the size you need compared to the size of your hose. And thanks Careyo for the info on the bearing too and the Pto issue

This is the link that will explain the radiator hose adapter size for the hose you have. I copied this from Scotty. He gave me the idea to do this. Here is the link Radiator hose adaptor-Prosport Gauges Upper radiator hose adaptor. I also had to drill and re-tap the adapter for the temp sensor to fit. Wasn't a problem I did it myself. But make sure you don't drill to big. I believe for 1/4 NPT you need to drill with a 7/16 drill bit. That's what I did

Hard to say it just depends on how it's set up. The top link bracket is set up to push the tiller out and up to were a top link would basically just go up and you may run into a problem. So many variables with different brands. The 650$ could end up costing 850$ having to buy longer ams longer/shorter Dr.shaft or even both. Then the tiller itself may have problems or going to have problems with worn out parts,tines Etc.. I would start with giving Fredricks a call and go from there. At least your know that it will work and is setup for your tractor properly. I had problems getting mine setup Yup!! gave me the wrong drive shaft LOL.. So at least you know they will stand behind it and make sure you get or have everything you need.

Exactly my thoughts. :thumbsup:

Thanks for your input Bmaverick. I'm going to call Fredricks here in a little while. I am also going back to look at the other tiller and take some measurements to see how it would set up on my 2210d. I would prefer the tiller that is meant for my 2210 but don't want to spend a fortune to get one shipped either. Will let you guys know what I decide.

So I called Fredrick's today and was told that a 4ft tiller is $650, a 4.5ft is $725, & a 5ft is $850 and it wold cost around $400 to ship it to me, so I guess I'm not sure what to do. That's a lot of money when you add in the shipping. I would really like a 5ft tiller that is made for my 2210 but $1,250 is a lot to spend! What does anyone else think? Any one from that area coming to Nebraska or Iowa that would want to make a few dollars? I would pay you but to $400 though 😄.
