Jeff your attached photo is a good example of why Kioti should fix these loaders. I would not want to be working around that pallet with that angle on it. If the lift cylinders can pick it up then the tilt cylinders should be able to roll it back level. Design flaw by the engineer that has to be fixed. Your photo was on level ground, just imagine going down just a slight hill with that load. The end user of these loaders bought what they thought was a safe and well engineered product, they deserve nothing less. Kioti should not expect their consumers to finance their warranty and safety recalls that is if they want to remain a viable tractor company!

Campwags, If you had got the 1731 loader for your DK65S you would have avoided the self-leveling loader. Check the Kioti web site the spec on roll-back increase from the 30 to 38 degrees. The other 8 makes for a level bucket. Send me a black lab for the lake!

LakeLanierBuddy,

You missed the point of my posting. I posted the picture to demonstrate the 1590, at least my unit, is not useless as some have suggested. My yard is not all that flat, there is a 7 degree slope from the driveway down through the front yard. But that's beside the point. Having that much weight on the forks made the tractor very nose heavy, even with the backhoe hanging on the rear. I would not want to carry those pallets on steeper slope, or over a rough surface, regardless of pallet angle on the forks.

As for safety concerns, I knowing exceeded the specified capacity of the 1590. That's no more Kioti's fault then it would be GM's fault if I hauled 5000 pounds of cargo in my pickup. Would you expect GM to upgrade a trucks cargo capacity because owners could over load them? That's the argument your trying to make with Kioti.

Would you sue GM if that same truck's fuel tank caught on fire while you were driving it, and hurt you because of an engineering design flaw? We disagree, it could be related to our respective professions!

This is just getting silly!

Equating limited FEL rollback power and angle with exploding gas tanks is absurd. How is the fact I'm an engineer, and your a retired PA have any bearing if Kioti's loaders meet their published specification or not?

Jeff, We simply don't have the same idea of what is safe! I agree that we disagree. If you are happy with your 1590 loader, that is great, however many others are not and the 1595 is worse. It is also very possible that this problem is going to be decided in the courts. I want debate with you anymore, we simply don't agree!
