Mike in PA,

OK - I see what I may have done different.

I am not sure if the tractor was in nuetral - quite frankly I don't recall whether or not I had the brakes on???? Will try lifting again when I put the loader back on for something.

Thanks,

Cliff in Wisconsin (Harley Town)

I received the gauge while I was out of town and finally got to check it last night. I asked my wife why she didn't check it while I was gone, and all she did was give me "the look". Go figure. Anyway, I connected it to both sides of the lift circuit and came up with 2000 lbs on each. Even thou this is higher than the specs, I am not able to lift the front without curling. I guess I will have to check one out at the dealer to see if a new machine can do it. I suspect there might be something else wrong, or is it possible that the SS puts more weight in the front causing the inability to lift it?

Who's next on the list? Send me a PM with shipping info and I will get it shipped on Friday.

I know it's been asked before in this forum, but you aren't putting the FEL control all the way to the "float" position are you? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Is someone keeping track of the List, or should I just scan the posts to see who is next? Has "toddwulf" tested yet?

I would just scan the list and send out some private messages if you have to.

Mine will lift front off ground with no effort. Piece of cake. Thats without curling bucket. With bucket level just push stick forward a little not to float position and front should lift off ground. It will only lift a little because the cylinders bottom out. Make sure there is room on the cylinders to lift the front. If there is room and it doesnt lift then maybe the supersteer adds that much more weight but i doubt it.

No, I am not hitting the float position. It starts to lift but not high enough to spin the front tire. I have not checked to see if the rod is bottoming out.
