I don't think there is anything wrong with New Holland and I haven't heard anything negative as far as brand I would put them in the upper mid tier brand compare to Massey Fergusson.

Massey is the local dealer and they just dropped TY to pick up Massey but they didn’t quote me Massey because they didn’t have a 50 just a 70, which was quit more.

NH makes reliable tractors with good parts availability, equivalent to a Deere or Kubota. I have 3 NH tractors, a 2019 Workmaster 75, the 2004 TC40DA, and a 2023 25S. Mine go to the dealer for service and major repairs. Minor stuff such as switches or hydraulic hoses I do myself. Parts are readily available, even for my 2004 TC40DA. The TC series are workhorses, made by Shibaura.for NH. Newer CUTs are made by LS for NH. A 40 hp like my TC40DA will do the work like you described without a problem and without any DPF emission devices or regens to worry about.

As far as mowing, I would much rather use a rotary cutter or 3pt mount finish mower than a mid-mount mower. I have both for my 2 larger tractors and they are far more pleasant to use. The mid-mount on the 25S throws out a lot of dust and grass that covers me and the radiator.

I’m looking at a BOOMER 54D because I really like the mid-deck mower option and cvt transmission.

My use case is unique! We just bought a drive-in and currently it’s in rough shape, so it will require tilling/plow, then racking, and then grading/box blade. Once that is done, it’s a mowing the front and back of the screen BUT there’s 5 acres of back lot that’s untouched that I need to do a lot of moving of dirty to level and prepare for RV/Tiny homes.

Thus looking at something powerful enough to do several days of back to back work, while small enough that I can train an employee on to mow the lawns and grade the gravel in the drive-in.

I would not buy a mid mount mower for anything but a small compact or subcompact tractor for use on green lawn. Mid mount mowers are’t good for tall grass and weeds and especially not for dry grass. The chaff and dust produced by a mid mount mower will choke you and your radiator, resulting in overheating. And you will cuss installing removing it when you need to do tractor work.

I’m new to the tractor world and thinking about buying a NH 50-70hp around 2015+ mark and wanted user input on the brand and how easy to get repaired versus green, red and orange. Taking aside all brands have lemons, over all what say you?

If you're concerned about lemons, be aware ANYTHING 2015+ has yellow all over it, and can easily leave a sour taste in your mouth.

I have a New Holland backhoe, and it's been very impressive. I can't speak about their ag tractors, but on the construction side, New Holland is very frustrating to deal with on buying parts. I've gotten to know the guys at the Parts Counter, and they have been very helpful in suggesting other sources to buy parts from because of how bad their pricing has become.

From what I understand, New Holland and Case are the same thing, just different paint color. I like Red paint a lot better then Blue, so when I was looking at buying another tractor a few years ago, Case was at the top of my list.

In the end, I went with Massey Ferguson and bought a brand new cabbed 4707 with zero percent interest. I've had it over two years now and it's really impressed me. PR Equipment has a video comparing the Massey to the Case tractor, and another comparing the Massey to the Deere that are worth watching. There are some differences that I felt made the Massey a better tractor for the money, and in the 70hp range.

Thanks, I didn’t think it though on how you described it, but that makes sense and so I will focus on a rear mounted mower.

I wouldn't buy a new one. I have a close friend who had two- the first was a lemon and NH took it back. The second was also a lemon- different issues than the first but neither one was able to be fixed by them. NH bought the second one back. He switched to a Kubota, and hasn't had any issues.
Manufacturers don't just take tractors back without serious issues or arm twisting, and for them to do it twice is indicative. I would explore a used one, but not new.
I don't know which model he had, but it was in the 75 hp range.

For mowing..get a ZTR. They mow way faster in way softer soil.

Not sure where the breakpoint is, but NH (and CaseIH) use LS to build the compact models. As Eddie said, most(all?) of NH/Case models are the same. I came at buying from an IH family. Two separate dealerships in the family, including one co-owned by dad. I still bought red, too, but I got TYM red.

My point about the LS isn't to dissuade you at all. Just understand there may be huge differences in reliability and features between those made by LS for NH and those they make themselves. This may help when reviewing anecdotal evidence of problems.

Unless you are mechanically inclined, I'd be very careful about used. Some used tractors are great. Many have been abused and it's not always obvious. Caveat emptor.

Parts prices from the dealerships are insane. And 5 minutes of online reach will find the same damn part, or other fix, for 1/2.
