Nice little 3020 I picked up

For the price I got Mike, $6250, they just delivered it. I went over it pretty good and they knew the guy that had it the last 10 years. It had a new starter, new alternator, new battery, new starter switch, all the lights worked, no leaks, hydraulics tested good, and the dealer had overhauled the transmission two years ago. The motor was overhauled four years ago and had 450 hours on it since then. Rubber is about 60%. It started very good, no smoke at all, brakes were good. I felt pretty comfortable with it like it was.

Very Nice. My brother-in-law has two 4020's and a 4320. He says no new Deere can replace them. I usually get to drive the 4320 in the Spring when they harrow up the corn fields. I hope you enjoy your new tractor!

Around here, northern Alabama, a 4020 will easily fetch $9000 and I have seen them higher.

They will bring the same around here or better Brent. The 3020's are usually right behind them in price.

Seeing as how you are in the middle of the area where Deere seems to be a big seller,have you ever seen any 3020s with HFWA?

My neighbor bought a 4020 that had been completely restored to "right off the assembly line" condition by a famous member of a country music band. The performer and his group fell on hard times and the JD 4020 had to be sold. $20.000 has been turned down on severl occasions for this particular tractor. They crank it up about once a month and put it thru its paces and never actually puts it in the field--Ken Sweet

Speaking of rebuilt 4020's, Here is a picture of a tractor a local boy won at an FFA convention. This tractor gets rebuilt by Deere, as a promotion, complete with new hourmeter etc.
It was a beautiful tractor, and I'm sure 20K plus would be offered.

I've never seen a 4020 with folding ROPS, I'll bet that was a Deere add on. COme to think of it, I don't believe I have ever seen any kind of ROPS on a 4020.
