Okay Gents, Time to Fess up as we say in Texas. I found my problem and it was operator era. Yeah I made a mistake. One of many in my 76 years.
The main bearing holders can be put in backwards and as luck would have it that's what i did. Oil was not building pressure as it was flowing with no resistance at all. I know it is hard to visualize but that is my problem. It took me about 45 minutes to split tractor and pull engine. I thought I could push the pistons up far enough to get the crankshaft out without pulling head and knocking pistons out but once again as luck would have it (no luck). Had to remove head and pistons to get crankshaft out. Going to call Fredricks Monday morning and get another set of the two center main bearings. It will be late next week before I get parts and a couple days to get back together. I will let you know how it turned out. As a side note, when I put the main bearing holders in the first time I studied the parts diagram to try and get it right. The diagram was a little confusing and then Yanmar stamps a F on the main bearing housing which I thought stood for front but low and behold the F faces the Rear. O well not trying to place blame elsewhere. It was this Dummie's mistake, and their you have it. I appreciate all the support I got from this group. Thanks again...

Thanks for the followup!

Maybe F means Flywheel???

Related trivia, Yanmar calls the cylinder nearest the flywheel the #1 cylinder, a carryover from their more significant marine diesel manufacturing.

Nice. I'm glad you found a reason, and looking forward to hearing how it finally turns out.

Well, ya-ay! But I dont get it. Where was the oil flowing? Where was the open path?

Relief valve I imagine.

OP and 0 pressure indicate flow w/o resistance. But a blockage before the pressure sensor would just be relieved w/o notice. Makes sense.

Delt with a lot of Pool Spa hotub pumps etc. and a self-priming pump is a centrifugal pump that has the ability to draw liquid from a level underneath its suction port without an exterior priming aid. The name of a self-priming pump represents that it has the capability to prime itself. For this reason, the accessory priming chamber or the housing must have adequate liquid to prime the pump. My guess. Bad pump could be very well possible.

Main brng holders were turned around letting oil from oil galley shoot on the outside of the holder instead of going inside bearing cap and pressureing up
