True in any temperature. Lithium Ion batteries don't like to be kept either very full or very empty for extended periods. If I'm going to be storing them for an extended period, I try to do it between 20% and 80% (usually up toward the higher end of the scale, so I can get significant use out of it if I need it quickly.)wow dropped some coin. if you live somewhere very hot, keep the jump packs around 75% charged. they will last significantly longer.
Jump packs are one thing, but don't get rid of all your old chargers.I just purchased these jump boxes and the battery charger. Need to get rid of all the 80's DieHard, Schumacher, and Schauer chargers I have. Time to step into the present.
The quality is amazing with the Noco. Even the packaging impressed me.

the noco's can be forced to charge at the correct voltage and will start charging at any voltageJump packs are one thing, but don't get rid of all your old chargers.
Some of the new smart chargers are too smart for their own good. If your battery drops down to 6V, then the new chargers can't decide whether to recharge at 6V or 12V. And down to 1V or 2V, and they just refuse to start.
its built into the charging cycle, on top of the forced mode.I took advantage of the sale and bought 2 Noco Genius 10's to replace my aging Batteryminders. I was a bit disappointed to find the Noco's won't desulfate and maintain the battery at the same time. There are two different modes for this, whereas the Batteryminder combined the two.
Still good charger / maintainers for the price though, so I won't be returning them.
I own close to 15 at this point...Tractors, trucks and trailers I would need 10.
Interesting.its built into the charging cycle, on top of the forced mode.

". Recovery Mode is an automatic step within the charging cycle, and will become activated during the normal charge cycle, when there is sulfation detected in the battery."
I just got the dumbest wheeled charger I could for that reason. Manual switch & timer, no smart anything. Handy for testing things like motors or using as a power supply. I use smart chargers or maintainers for normal charging or maintaining.Jump packs are one thing, but don't get rid of all your old chargers.

as mentioned earlier the noco, can be overridden regardless of battery voltage.I just got the dumbest wheeled charger I could for that reason. Manual switch & timer, no smart anything.
