Uh, I think you missed there. The new 24 valve Cummins engines are quieter than your family sedan. Perhaps you mean the older 12 valve Cummins, but many of those have now been pumped up to 500 hp with over 1000 ft. lbs. of torque.
Otherwise, it's simply standard protocol for most all diesel pickups to shut of their engines if you go through drive through. If you don't, just try to figure out why your order will be intentionally screwed up. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
