I wouldn't pay over 4k. It's not worth the aggrivation to fix up. I'd go for a better brand like komatsu.

Komatsu doesn't have a TPH or a live PTO. Who said they are "better"?

Well I guess I shouldn't repeat hearsay. Is yuchai reputable? Easy to get parts for? Good qc?

Easy to get parts for? Yep.
Good qc? Doesn't have quite the fit & finish of a Cat, but then that's reflected in the price. I have 600 hours on mine with no complaints.

Just an update, the owner now has come down to 4500, I'm going to let him sit on it for a few more days before I respond.
