Not Enough Babies?

That's not including consultants, service contractors, ect; I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't push closer to 20% when you take that into account. Stuff like contracted school bus drivers, ect, that are under direct control/supervision of a public sector employee.
And they all spend money in the local economy, feed their families, and pay taxes.

And we pay their pensions & bennies.
Our pastor spoke today of spreading the gospel and the benefits of having a large family (although benefits are disappearing).

The cost of living makes it very difficult to raise more than a few children now.

I think a lot of our problems could be solved by drastically slashing taxes via making the gubmit a LOT smaller and putting money back into people’s pockets.

Runaway boondoggle spending in the trillions leaves the common young couple little left for housing for a bigger family.

Thats why people don’t have more babies. They simply can’t afford it.

Do we want solar panels and illegal immigrants to do all the work, or go back to clean as possible fossil fuels and have Americans do the work?

What is ECT? Electroconvulsive therapy ? Or did you mean etc. (abbreviation for et cetera)?
Anyways, I worked at a Military Lab, in 1975 it was about 300 employees onsite and maybe 100 contractors offsite, then by 2010 it was about 400 onsite with at least 500 contractors offsite.

I dont know that birthrate is really 1 to 1 tied to close of living. I think a big part of it is societal pressure, pushing people to wait until their 30s to have kids. If you wait till your 30+; that pretty much means you looking at maybe 3, max of 4 kids; and likely 1 or 2.

Like haydude said, young couples can't afford kids nowadays. Medical for the birth is through the roof and then look at daycare prices. Most young couples aren't set up like some of the older population financially

Yep, dual incomes are almost a foregone conclusion. Young couples just can’t create the time to take care of more than a couple kids and they are exhausted.

It’s funny when I read the few guys here saying “I’m better off than ever”. I have to laugh because you know all they care about is their situation. Do they care about their fellow American, tax paying citizens?

I remind you of the simple acronym “JOY”
In order it should be:
Jesus
Others
Yourself

Try thinking about other people trying to start families while working multiple jobs and think about the impact your support of wild spending leaders has on them.
Our country needs higher birthrates.

Every business works for government collecting and remitting sales taxes in sales tax states and now even in non sales tax states if product shipping to sales tax state retail...

Yep... Daycare when no family has always been expensive...

One sister in law had a very good job and then 9/11 happened when she was off for maternity so no job to go back to.

She never did go back and the deal was brothers in sales so she runs the household and it has worked very well...

Having a supportive wife meant he was free to make the big bucks...
