I would love to take the whole day off, but have several calls for this morning, and lost of work. Yes it is a nice day here too, and I am sure looking forward to this afternoon.

Alright I have the papers signed, the owners manual, a hat and most of the 50 hour supplies AND a set of keys for a Kioti:) Now if I just had a tractor!
Well they say tomorrow at 4:00PM Woo Hoo. We shall see. I will try to remember the camera if I can beat the delivery guy home.

James K0UA

Well, at least set out your game camera aimed at the driveway.

I think you need to take the advice regarding your "EYE" problem as it is most appropriate.

Congratulations on your effort to be the guy who finishes the BIG GAME with the most toys.

Ya gonna at least have 2m in it, right? I have a source for really good shunt fed 1/2 wave base loaded whips. Just like the METZ but way less expensive. I have one on my tractor, and two of my pickups.

Patrick and James,

Maybe at Dayton this year we can convince the radio manufacturers to make Kioti Orange radios for installation on our tractors. A single band 2m would be fine with me...My TS430 and TS140 are too big for my tractor.

Tom, don't be a bigot. If Kubota and Kioti oranges are too far apart then a radio in a properly contrasting color would serve us both. I have an in-dash (upper dash above windshield) radio mounting hole with power and wires to the cab's built-in spkrs but made my own custom mount and use the spkr in the xcvr. Still room for another radio in the ceiling level dash.

With repeater to VOIP and VOIP to repeater links we could QSO tractor to tractor while operating. I assume you can drive and talk, nicht var?

Well it was a nice morning for sure here. I have almost 10 hours on my new Massey already and I know how your heart flutters from excitement of getting a new tractor. Did you even sleep last night? Hope it doesn't rain too much tomorrow haha. Have fun this weekend.

Congrats on the new work horse! I'm eager to see how she stacks up against your old machine. Time is money so I think that $25 a month will be money well spent.

Well not to bum anyone out, but I take off work at 3 to get here by 4, (I have an hours drive, so do they) On the way I call to make sure the delivery guy who called yesterday is still coming, who said yesterday, "your tractor is ready and we would like to deliver it friday ".. so today he says.. Uh.. well it might be after dark, we had an "kinda of an emergency and had to go to Mt. Grove" ( a town about 60 miles from here.). Great says I, and by the way, you did get in the canopy you have been waiting on and did put it on the tractor right?. "Uh, I dunno, let me check, I will call you back" 20 minutes later no call. I call for salesman, "he is on another line etc.." Great says I, and please let him know he now has a pixxed off customer that would like a callback.. thanks. He calls back right a way. He says, well the canopy did not come in, and is not on the tractor and maybe can we deliver it next friday as the truck is over to Mt. Grove. "No, bring it down this afternoon or evening and forget the canopy, you can bring it later and put it on here" Ok.. might be dark, "Fine just bring it." So here I sit, all dissapointed, took off work, and I guess the idiot that was supposed to deliver it was just going to let me go home and wait on him and not call and let me know either he wasn't coming or was coming late or something. Anyway I am in a pixxy mood and no new tractor. I realize that "things" happen, but after waiting 2 weeks, and no phone call today, as soon as they knew of the "kinda emergency" has put me in that mood. Guess I can get glad as about as quick as I have got mad, but it hasn't happened yet.

Bummer. I suspect you will survive but I feel your frustration. Nothing worse than having some uncaring person interfere with a play date with a new toy.

Dear kioti-less... shis+1 happens. What you are dealing with is the current state of the art in customer service. About the only way it could consistently average worse is if they spoke broken heavily Hindi accented sing-song laughingly referred to as English. You are in their pocket now. Before the sale I bet you had their attention much better. Treating you and your time with professional respect won't garner them more commission. It isn't professional, it isn't right, it isn't how you treat them, but it is the way it is. Try to straighten them out at your own peril. I fantasize about a SNL skit where the sword wielding samurai asks a question and getting BS he lops off the head and repeats the question to the next person.

Sorry this is spoiling your pre-Christmas fun. Maybe it will fade a bit once you are playing with the toy.

Sorry, dude. I'm sitting here with a SDR and a super external sound card with no USB driver in the shipping box, no driver support from maker, and most possibilities exhausted... Too bad you aren't closer I'd give you a couple beers and shoot pool left handed to let you fare better.

Yeah that's a serious letdown. It seems like stuff like this always happens when one is really looking forward to something. When I bought my house last year it took an extra six weeks to close because various crap kept pushing it back. Once I got in, I didn't care about the lost time and I'm sure once you (finally!) get your tractor, you'll be smiling too much to think about how long it took. :)
