Matt,
Good call, I think if you bite the bullet and find a loaded 110 you will be pleased with it. Martian persisted and found a good deal best I can tell.

I was bored, and wanted to compare the prices to mine, so I found a couple for you; (these all have at least the loader and BH hydraulics)

Expensive, long way from CT, low hours, thumb, all the hydro's, box blade, TnT - 2008 DEERE 110 Machines - Loader Backhoes For Sale At MachineryTrader.com

Long ways from CT, low hours, thumb, box blade, 3 pt (no TnT?), all hydraulics - 2006 DEERE 110 Machines - Loader Backhoes For Sale At MachineryTrader.com

Closer (slightly) to CT, no 3 spool rear, higher hours, 4 in 1 bucket, thumb - 2004 DEERE 110 Machines - Loader Backhoes For Sale At MachineryTrader.com

Close to CT, higher hours, 3PH, thumb, (3 spool rear?) - 2005 DEERE 110 Machines - Loader Backhoes For Sale At MachineryTrader.com

Close to CT, high hours, no thumb, it has a cab! (but a lot of broken glass), is that the same cab you've got Steve? - 2005 DEERE 110 Machines - Loader Backhoes For Sale At MachineryTrader.com

Is Hawaii too far? It does have a 4 in 1, forks and the BH hydraulics - 2005 DEERE 110 Machines - Loader Backhoes For Sale At MachineryTrader.com

The one in Hawaii looks about the best. I'm not looking for anything over 1k hrs. I have seen some better prices on CL with low hrs. I have a feeling this may take awhile.

I did, but only one of them. It had none of the hydros though, so it wasn't really high on the list. I haven't seen the second though

So I did alot of looking today and did find some local(relativly) deals. My search has lead me to two conclusions. One, I may need to re evaluate my hr requirements. Two,the majority of the units listed have very little details as to options. I talked to three private sellers and none could tell me what there machine had as far as remotes. I'm going to have to sell my 3320 before I buy the 110 unless I can find a dealer interested in trading. Martian got a deal and a half, and the thought of being tractorless is scary.

My thoughts as well, after a lot of practice I could tell the fel and bh remotes, but unless it states the 3 spool, you can't tell.

I finally got to test mine out in my yard today. It sure is a lot more powerful than my 3120. I took out 4 shrubs and the thumb sure is a lifesaver. Then moved it with the grapple. If I could just figure out what's wrong with the 3 rear remotes it would be the best/nicest tractor I've ever owned.

Don't rush into it. It took me 4 months to get one, but it was worth it. Get one with everything and have no regrets.

Good luck!

I hear you on being patient(not one of my strong points). But in regards to hrs, what exactly would you consider high? I myself think around 1k but to be fair I've only got 360 on my 3320 and it's an 05. I came across some today with as much as 5k. Now I wouldn't buy one with that many hrs but I'm starting to think up to about 2k wouldn't be too bad. I found one in the state with all the options and 4in1 for 25k but 1800 hrs. I may go take a look this weekend.

1800 hours was the highest I considered. Too me, hours don't mean much, how well it's been taken care of, does. I would rather have a tractor that was fully taken care of, regular maintenance and servicing with 1800 hours than your 3320 with 360 hours that was abused for that amount of time. I was really considering one with 1800 hours, the one at H&M mentioned earlier, but when I was ready to buy, I found the one I got. It also seems to me that some of these owned by utility company's are more likely to take care of them better, to avoid down time, but have more hours. Don't get to caught up in hours, but still be weary of them. If it has been well taken care of, $25k is a good price from my research. The 4 in 1 alone is about $4k knew from what I'd found.

If it were me, I'd go take a look, take it for a test drive and go from there.

Does it have a 3pt hitch and/or top n tilt and the 3 rear remotes?

RI isn't far at all from CT...

J DEERE 110 TLB 4WD 2003

There were two 110 TLB's for sale for a long time in RI- one with a cab, one without. IIRC high 20's for one, high 30's for the other.

Still waiting for my 4520 to arrive. It's funny how long it's taking for spring (May) to get here this year!
