Now what do I do?

Yep, those are the ones I was talking about. They build large nests of sticks outdoors, usually under a bush. They aren’t typically destructive, but can be annoying if they build a stick nest in your barn or shed.

We had an infestation of pack rats a few years back when a neighbor (who never cleaned out the horse stalls or feed room) moved, leaving behind old feed/food and trash. Once the rats overpopulated and ate everything, they moved over to all the adjoining neighbors. I had to set rat traps daily, usually getting 1 or 2 a night. Some of the males were the size of opossums! Took 4 months to finally get all those destructive bas**rds! Haven't seen any signs of 'em for the past few years.

Wow. Never seen anything like that.
Me neither. I moved the jeep 100 feet to an open shed and cleaned it all out. The rat was back that very night rebuilding the nest. That’s when I saw it run out. Huge.

That rat would get trapped or poisoned. I hate destructive rodents.

I dispatch 6 or 8 after finding this.
