For you guys talking about taking steps two at a time here is some you should try:
Do You Know the History Behind Austin's Mount Bonnell?
There are only 106.

I'm fairly certain I could run up those in just about 30 seconds. I'd be winded as heck by the time I got to the top, but I could do it.
I'am almost 61 . " Any truth to the rumor that at 70 most men tend to only look at women from the neck up ? "
When I lived in Germany I worked on the fourth floor of a building with no elevator. I purposely walked up and down 6 times every day. With watching what I ate I actually lost 25 pounds in about 5 months.I still take them two at a time every day, many times a day, 3,4,5 floors at a time. And, if I'm feeling rambunctious, I take them two at a time on the way down, too.
Where I grew up, we had about 130 steps down an escarpment to a lake, where we kept a rowboat and a swimming area. If you ever wanted to get to the top, you just started taking them two at a time. I left many friends in the dust going up those stairs while carrying two boat oars, a couple fishing poles, a tackle box, a life jacket and a boat anchor!
I am 66, retired, and started an apple farm three years ago on the property where I live. It was the best thing I could have done because it keeps me outside for a few hours a day. The biggest difference from when I was younger is I take my time now. I use a UTV to get things around the farm. I get the saws fueled and sharpened before leaving the barn, as well as having all the other tools needed. I take another trip to get my ladder out to the tree rows, set it up, don’t over-reach, keep moving the ladder along. I think the fresh air is good but I can’t say I really work hard, its more or less at my pace.
